Higher Performance Life for Higher Performance Travel!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Japanese rainy season is just around the corner and we often have fuzzy morning. But I keep getting sunlight during the preparation of my branch. So I eat it outside enjoying nice wind from the sea.
A few days ago, I mentioned about difference in food favor between Tokyo and local places. Difference is not only that. I have experienced difference in time of food (to eat and to shop) since I came back to my hometown.
So, if I only stay in Tokyo time, I can enjoy high cost performance life here.
Half cost which I can get here means doubling the merit in other words. Furthermore, if I get input of happiness which local people don’t get, it means my happiness level raises higher and higher.
I have tried to adapt my experience of management accounting in a factory during my period as company business man into local life and guesthouse management.
Here, in Kanmon area, I am practicing higher performance life for myself at first, and I share my knowledge, skill and sense with our guests to improve the performance of their travels. It is our style and the biggest happiness for us is to get good feedback from our guests with their word “Thank you, I enjoyed it”. OK, this is the “TOUKA Model”.
Because I could feel that some of our guests felt a little interest in the article few days ago, I dug into the topic a little deeper.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
梅雨も近くて、なんとなく怪しい雲行きの朝もありますが、ブランチの準備をしているあいだにいつも日差しが差してくるので、爽やかな風にも誘われて屋外で食事してしまうこの頃です。
さて、先に東京と地方での食の嗜好の違いを話題にしましたが、違うのはそれだけではないようです。というのもどうも食の時間（食べる時間・買う時間）にも違いがあるようなのです。
おかげで東京時間で生活するだけで、ここでは毎日コストパフォーマンスの良い生活を送れるのが、とてもうれしいＵターンだったりします。
ここで得られるコスト半分とは、ひっくり返せばメリットが倍になるということであり、さらに地元の人達もやらないようなうれしいインプットも得ることで、倍々・累乗で幸せの度合いが増えていく感覚が味わえるということになります。
こんな風にサラリーマン時代に担当した生産部門の管理会計を、ここでの田舎暮らしに取り入れて過ごしています。
そんなわけで、ここ関門では、まず自らがパフォーマンスの高い生活を実践した上で、その知識や経験や感覚をゲストさんにもシェアすることで旅のパフォーマンスを上げてもらうのが当宿のスタイルです。そうした中で最高のインプットはゲストさんからいただく「ありがとう、楽しかったよ」という言葉であって、これこそが「灯火モデル」だったりします。
以上、少し前の話題が、漢字の理解できるゲストさんにちょっとだけウケたので、少しだけ掘り下げてみました。
