Our guests who have stayed since last week have been saying

What are the guests disappointed about?
It is early finishing distribution of Welcome KitaQ coupons, in which this city distributes 5,000 yen per person to foreign tourists.
Judging from the fact that the original period of distribution was a half-hearted end, which was February 21st,
it seems that it was originally intended for “tourists during Chinese New Year”.
However, the distribution ended before the Chinese New Year, which was the main purpose, was a very incomplete ending for the campaign.
The official homepage has an “Important Notice” announcing the early termination, but it is not reflected in the overseas travel sites that have been spread.
Campaign flyers are also still posted at stores across the city.
As a guesthouse that values the “feelings” of each guest, we are truly sorry for their feeling of “disappointment”.
Furthermore, as our goal is to “exceed expectations” for guests come again and again, we do not allow ourselves to make guests to be disappointed in their expectations, like this campaign.
As with the Liberal Democratic Party’s slush fund problem, we are curious who will take responsibility?

今になって気付いたんですが、、、
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
先週あたりからご利用されるゲストさんたちが口々に言ってます、、、「聞いてないよ〜」って！
ゲストさんたちが何に対して残念がっているかというと、、、
この街が、外国人旅行者向けにひとり5,000円づつバラまくという「ウェルカムきたQクーボン」の早期配布終了！
当初の期間が２月２１日までと中途半端な日程だったことから推測して、本来「春節期間の旅行客」を想定していたのでは？
それが、最大目的の春節期間前に配布終了とは、、、キャンペーンとしてはなんとも不完全な終わり方です。
当該の公式ホームページは早期終了について「重要なお知らせ」として告知がありますが、拡散された海外の旅行サイトまでは反映されていません。
また市内の店舗でもキャンペーンのチラシが掲示されたままです。
ゲストさんおひとりおひとりの「気持ち」を大切にしている当宿としては、彼らの「残念感」が本当に残念で仕方ありません。
さらに当宿ではまた来てもらうためにも「期待を上回る」を目標に掲げており、本件のようなゲストに「期待はずれ」を味合わせることは御法度です。
自民党の裏金問題と同様、誰が責任を取るのかな？ 自治体の対応・マスコミの反応にしばらく留意しておこうと思います。
