Is your partner OK?!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
In the previous article, I report that both side of Kanmon area make effort to improve themselves to become more valuable area for tourists.
This is same for human, isn’t it?
In couples of tourists from certain country, most of female have good sense of beauty, but male is terrible and that make me have a strange feeling when I see them walking together in town. Men’s sense seems to be about 15 years behind from women’s sense.
(You don’t need to be in tourism industry. If you watch carefully, you will see many young couple tourists have this tendency.)
This theme often comes up to our chatting with our guests, and they (specially female) agree with this.
According to them, high sense female guests using TOUKA, the gap exists not only in their appearance, but also in their inside and it is unacceptable level for them to see.
(Probably Japanese couple used be like them. It is possible we still have huge gap.)

パートナー、見苦しくない？
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
ここ関門では対岸の町をパートナーと位置付けて、相互に努力してエリア全体の価値を高め合い、切磋琢磨していることを記事にしましたが、、、
それって人間でも同じです。
ある特定の国のカップル旅行客に見受けられるのですが、並んで歩く彼らを見ていると、女性はずいぶん美意識が高いのに、男性の方は大きく見劣りしていることがよくあります。男性のセンスは女性と比べると15年ほど遅れているように感じます。
（観光業界にいなくても、この傾向は街にいる観光客を注意深く見ると、容易に気付くことができます。）
このギャップについては、ゲストとのおしゃべりの話題にもよくのぼり、自分の見解は当該国のゲスト（特に女性）からも共感を得ています。
当宿をご利用いただく意識の高い女性によれば、ギャップは外見のみならず、頭の中、つまり内面性でさらに大きく、彼女たちにとって我慢できないレベルだそうです。
（おそらく日本人も昔は、いや、もしかしたらいまなお変わることなく、そのギャップは大きなままなのかもしれません。）
