He was the man we have been waiting for!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
The man who checked out yesterday was the special guest we have been waiting for.
Like we are usually watching ships go through the strait, he have been watching this place from the sea.
Yes, he is a young navigation officer of international route. He said that he have been wanted to stay in this town and he have thought so every time he passed this strait.
It is our guesthouse policy that we want guests from various countries to come TOUKA like many ships are heading to this lighthouse. He is the man who really came from the sea as we have wanted.
During his stay, he showed us videos of his ship going on the stormy Genkai-nada and told the story of visiting various chemical complexes in Japan and the reason why he have been a clue of chemical tanker boat. It was very interesting communication every night.
Fun and curious things often happen in this little guesthouse in a little town of the strait.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
昨日チェックアウトされたのは、特別なゲストでした。
普段、ここから海峡を進む船を見ているのとは逆に、彼は海からこちらを見ていたそうです。
そう、彼は国際航路の若い航海士。
関門海峡を通るたびにこの町に滞在してみたいと思っていたそうです。
船がこの灯台を目印に進むように、旅人にも「灯火」を目印にやってきて欲しいというのが宿の基本姿勢ですが、本当にその通りに海からやってきた旅人でした。
荒れた玄界灘を航行する動画を見せてもらったり、日本の様々なコンビナートへの寄港話、なぜ船の乗組員をやっているのかなど、とても興味深い話を毎晩聞くことが出来ました。
海峡のちいさな町のちいさなゲストハウスでは、意外と結構おもしろいことが起こっています。
