It all started when we visited the family grave during Sakura blossom season and admired the Sakura trees in almost full bloom…
we decided to go on a Sakura blossom viewing picnic.
Our destination is the best Sakura blossom viewing spot in the Kanmon Strait area.
It’s the best spot I’ve discovered in nearly 10 years of hospitality experience.
Furthermore, regarding Sakura blossom viewing at this spot…
we never fail!
The reason is our information gathering.
What do we use as a reference? First, flowering information, weather forecasts, pollen forecasts, shipping information, and… visual observation!
Indeed, the biggest advantage of staying at this guesthouse is that you can visually check the condition of the Sakura blossoms at the spot before you go out.
We were blessed with good weather that day, and what appeared to be about 70% in bloom to the naked eye from here, had reached 80-90% in bloom by the time we arrived, making it the perfect time to enjoy viewing them.
According to the weather forecast, the peak Sakura blossom viewing timing in the Kanmon area is expected to be from this Sunday through the first half of next week.

失敗しないお花見 @ベストスポット in 関門海峡
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
桜シーズンのお墓参りでほぼ咲きそろった桜の木を眺めたのをキッカケに、、、
お花見ピクニックに出かけることにしました。
行き先はここ関門海峡エリアで一番のお花見スポット。
１０年近くになるおもてなし体験の中で見つけた一番のスポットです。
さらに、このスポットでのお花見については、、、
当宿は失敗しないので！
その秘訣は情報収集。
何を参考にするかといえば、まずは開花情報、天気予報、花粉予報、船舶航行情報、そして、、、目視！
そう当宿のメリットは、ここからしっかり当該スポットの桜の様子を目視した上で出かけることが出来るからです。
この日はお天気にも恵まれて、目視の段階では７分咲きの様に見えていたのが、到着時には８〜９分咲きのちょうど見頃になっていました。
天気予報を見ると、この週末日曜から来週前半にかけてがお花見のピークになりそうな関門エリア。
