Let’s harvest!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Since July started, we have had heavy rain, strong sunshine, humid air, and intense heat.

However it’s not all bad.

Because it is the time of harvesting this week.

About 2/3 of the whole was ripe and we could harvested more than we expected.

The fruits are large and full of juice, and they don’t taste bad. We shared them to our guests.

How lucky they were!

So now, we are excited about what we will plant next.

さぁ収穫だ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

7月に入って、大雨だったり、日差しギラギラの猛暑だったりといろいろ大変ですが、、、

実は悪いことばかりではないみたいです。

なぜかというと、今週、収穫のタイミングを迎えたんです。

全体の２／３ぐらいが熟れていて、思った以上に収穫することができました。

実は大きくてジューシー。味もそこそこだったので、ゲストさんにシェアしました。

このタイミングで滞在されたゲストさんはラッキーでしたね。

次はなにを植えるか、ちょっと楽しもうかとおもっています。

Between rain and rain

This weekend, we kept having heavy rain everyday in Kanmon area.

Rain everyday, but there was time for the rain to stop for about two hours.

As we can see the time from here, we try to share such information with our guests.

Adding advice to go earlier than other people for visiting the fish market in where we are always in trouble finding eating space on rainy day.

We expect that our guests utilize the time, a little less than 2 hours without rain.

「雨と雨との狭間で」

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

ここのところ毎日のように激しい雨の降る関門エリアです。

雨は毎日激しく降るのですが、それでも２時間程度の雨の止む時間があります。

そんな雨の隙間が見える当宿では、そのタイミングをゲストさんにアドバイスするようにしています。

雨が降っていると食べる場所確保に困る海鮮市場へは、繁忙時間を避けて早めに行くようアドバイスも添えて。

きっとこの２時間足らずの貴重な雨雲の空白時間を活かして観光を楽しまれていることを期待して、、、

Become younger without any care!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It was quite impressive reunion that our repeat guests who stays for the first time in five years checked in yesterday.

That was the pleasant time for us to realize the guest’s “We will come again some day” was not a social pleasantry.

We could find 5 years of solid growth of them, but they saw unchanged a little guesthouse. So after they kept saying “Remembering 5 years ago”, we let them check-in finally.

WHAT? Number didn’t match!

We found difference of the number in the “age” box from the last time was THREE, not FIVE!

Yes, the neighbor country just changed the age counting system, as of yesterday.

It was a moment unique to this guesthouse that we feel the overseas news event actually.

お手入れなしで若返った！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

昨日、五年ぶりにご利用いただいたゲストさんのチェックインは、感動の再会です。

「いつかまた来ます」が社交辞令ではなく、本当に実現したことに感謝の気持ちで心がいっぱいになります。

ゲストさんは５年分しっかり成長するも、このゲストハウスは大きく変わることないので「なつかしい」を連発してから、いざチェックイン。

あれ？数が合いません！

年齢欄に記載された数字がプラス５ではなくてプラス３！

そうです、お隣の国では昨日付で全国一斉に年齢のカウントの仕方が変わったのでした。

海外のニュースを実際に体感するこの宿ならではの一コマでした。

それでは、お手入れなしで２歳若返る素敵な一日を！
