Scary Sunday!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

When I raised the blinds in the morning on Sunday, I saw a different view of the strait outside the window than the day before.

The gentle morning sun shines down, there is no wind, and all the colors in the scenery look vivid.

The temperature is 8 degrees. So far, that temperature is around noon.

In the afternoon, although the sky is hazy, we could see the blue sky beyond.

Perhaps due to the haze, there is a greenhouse effect, and the temperature rises to 12 degrees.

It made us feel like the season has progressed all at once.

When this happens, it’s scary…

Yes, cedar pollen.

Since last summer was unusually hot, the amount of pollen scattered this season is likely to be huge.

怖い日曜日！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

日曜日、朝ブラインドを上げると窓の外にはこれまでとは違う海峡の様子。

やさしい朝日が降り注ぎ、風もなく、景色の中の色が全て鮮やかに見えます。

気温は８度。これまでだとお昼の温度。

午後になると、空は霞みながらもその向こうに青い空も透けて見えます。

霞のせいで温室効果があるのか、気温は上がって１２度に。

季節が一気に進んだ気がします。

こうなると、怖いのが、、、

そう、杉花粉です。

昨年の夏が異様なまでに暑かっただけに、今シーズンの花粉飛散量はすごいことになりそうです。

Good news about invisible enemy

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Recently most of news are about COVID-19 and that makes us feel heavy.

But I heard one good new among them.

The good news is that this year’s pollen (cedar and cypress) shedding is almost over.

We still have another strong invisible enemy, but it is clear that my visible symptom is disappearing. Now, I want to explode my saved energy during end of Feb. to beginning of Apr. Though under the situation of avoiding going out.

目に見えぬ敵について 〜 朗報

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

最近はコロナ関係の話題ばかりでニュースを聞いていても暗くなるばかりですが、、、

そんなニュースがうれしい話題を届けてくれました。

関門エリアでは本年度の「花粉（スギ・ヒノキ）」の飛散がようやく終わりそうだということです。

もう一つ厄介な「目に見えぬ敵」は残っていますが、とりあえず切実な目に見える被害は激減しそうです。これまで（２月末〜４月初め）に抑えていたエネルギーを爆発させたいと思います。外出自粛状態ではありますが、、、

TOUKA style pollen measure!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We are all worrying about warm winter and coronavirus, however the biggest concern in this season is “Pollen Allergy”

The manager of this guesthouse had kept saying that he is country boy and won’t be pollen allergy. But his best friend this time of year is tissue paper now, since he started suffering it after long living in Tokyo

With having four year of living experience in this town, he seems to get effective measure against pollen.

The most important thing of all is to check the strait view from the window everyday. it is in the view.

He noticed that he is OK when the wind blow from strait (northwest).
(There is nothing but GENKAI-NADA ocean in the northeast direction. )

Since that time, he has checked strait view as the first thing to do every morning.

When wind is blowing from northwest, he make deep breathing.
When wind from south direction, he make perfect preparation, such as surgical mask, drink medicine and eye drops

灯火的 花粉対処法！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

暖冬やコロナウィルスも気になるところですが、この時期もっとも気になるのが「花粉症」。

当宿宿主は田舎者だから花粉症にはならないと宣言していたのに、東京生活が長くなったせいで10年少し前に発症した後は、毎春ティッシュがお友達です。

そんな宿主が関門に戻ってきて４年。ようやく対処法が見えてきました。

なかでも、いちばん大事なのは窓の外の景色の中にあります。

風が海峡から吹くとき（つまり北西風のとき）には、ほぼ症状が出ないことが分かったのです。
（北西には花粉の山はなく、玄界灘が広がっているだけですからね。）

それ以来、シーズン中は、朝起きてまず一番に窓からの景色を確認する習慣が出来ました。

北西風のときは、笑顔で深呼吸を。
南方向から吹くときは、マスクに飲み薬に目薬もさして完璧な対策で備えるようにしています。
