I already mentioned that we don’t use any decorative lights to our Christmas tree this year, but there is no problem without the lights.

Because when we open guest room window at night,

今年の当宿のクリスマスツリーに電飾を付けないことは前述した通りですが、電飾なんてなくても全然寂しくないんです。

夜になって、お部屋の電気を消して、カーテンを開けると、、、

A view with flowers in the night

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We, Japanese, call fireworks Hanabi (flowers of fire).

Since COVID-19 pandemic in Japan, our big fireworks festival has been cancelled for two years (maybe this year too). Instead of big festival, they have set off fireworks in short time like 5min without any notices. We saw one of them yesterday night.

We can see such fireworks from our guest room along with harbor night view.

We guess that they will set off fireworks during Golden Week period.

夜にも花のある風景

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本ではFireworksのことを花火（火の花）と呼びます。

この町では夏の恒例行事「海峡大花火大会」がコロナ禍でずっと中止になっている代わりに、サプライズ花火が週末などに頻繁にあげられています。昨日の夜も上がっていましたね。

当宿では客室から港の夜景といっしょに見ることが出来ます。

ゴールデンウィーク期間中にもきっと花火上がるのではないかと思います。
