Cleaning has progressed at our guesthouse.

It looks like this nice weather will shift to eastern Japan today.

However, according to the weather forecast, a typhoon near Taiwan is heading north, and the weather is expected to go downhill through the weekend.

Let us utilize our precious time before it starts raining.

水曜日のここ関門エリアはまさに秋晴れという良いお天気でした。

今日この良い天気は東日本にシフトしていくようです。

でも、、、天気予報によると台湾近海にある台風が北上してきて、週末にかけて天気は下り坂とのことです。

雨が降り出すまでの貴重な時間を有効活用しましょう。

Good season, good scent

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This year in Japan, we still have some hot days even in October, but the days are getting shorter.

Around this time, a nice scent wafts from everywhere.

Fragrant olive (osmanthus) is planted near here, so the whole area is filled with its scent.

We can smell it everywhere as we walk around town.

This is not written in guidebooks, but why not take a stroll through a Japanese town that smells so good?

いい季節、いい香り

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

日本では10月になっても、まだ暑い日がありますが、、、さすがに日が短くなってきました。

そんなこの頃、どこからともなく良い香りが漂ってきます。

この近くにも金木犀が植っているせいで、あたり一面その香りで包まれます。

町を歩いていても、至る所で香っています。

こんなことガイドブックにこそ書いてはいませんが、そんないい香りがする日本の町を散策してみませんか？
