There are few travelers who were able to find our guesthouse, but…

even among such rare travelers, the guests who were able to experience this moment are much rarer.

This is because many guests check in late or go out for dinner without even seeing the sunset.

Although we never push our guests hard, our honest feeling is that our host really want them to see this scenery.

海辺の町の一番いい時間

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

ここだけの話です。

当宿を見つけることが出来た旅人は希少ですが、、、

そんな旅人の中でも、この時間を体験できたゲストさんはさらにまれです。

遅い時間にチェックインされたり、夕陽も見ずに晩ごはんに出かけられるゲストさんが多いからです。

ゴリ押しは決してしませんが、本心ではこの風景を是非見てもらいたいと思うのが宿主の正直な気持ちです。

Life by the sea

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Our town is so close to the sea that the water in our swimming pools is filtered seawater.

You can see the sea wherever you go in this town,

and what’s more, our guesthouse always overlooks the strait. 

After returning to my hometown and living here for 8 years, I realized the benefits.

First of all, in summer, we can overcome the heat by being close to large non-thermal water,

and when I went to Tokyo in April of this year, I realized for myself that the amount of pollen dispersed in early spring is much lower than in the Kanto region.

Would it be still better for you to live in a city without the sea?

海のある暮らし

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

スイミングプールの水が濾過された海水だったりするぐらい、我が町で営まれているのは海に近しい暮らしです。

どこにいくにも海が見えるし、

ましてや当宿では常に海峡を見下ろしています。

ふるさとに戻って８年暮らしてみて、そのメリットを実感します。

まず、夏は多少ですが非熱の大きな水に近いことで暑さが凌がれるし、

春先に飛散する花粉の量が関東と比べて遥かに少ないのは、今年４月の東京行きで身をもって実感しました。

やっぱり海のない都会暮らしが良いでしょうか？
