Already in Traffic Jam?!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It is the first morning of 10 days holiday Golden Week in Japan.

I don’t think I won’t be in any traffic jam, because I will work for our guests and don’t go anywhere during Golden Week. However I met heavy traffic yesterday.

As I think that I won’t have time in holiday, I went to gas station, There were a lot of cars waiting for gas. 10 lanes were all full of cars.

We will have guests who will drive to this guesthouse

早速、渋滞？！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本では１０連休のゴールデンウィーク初日の朝です。

１０連休といっても、出かけずにこの宿でおもてなしをするので、渋滞混雑全く関係ないと思っていたら、昨日ハマってしまいました。

連休対応で入れる時間的余裕がなくなるだろうと、行ったガソリンスタンドがすごいことになっていました。８本ある給油用のラインが車で溢れていました。

ゴールデンウィークは車を利用されるゲストもいらっしゃいます。

やっぱり急増中！/ I am sure that it is increasing!

I am sure that it is increasing!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

According to city officer, it is really increasing.

Number of rent-a-car reservation by foreign tourists.

Every time I use Kitakyushu airport, I see rent-a-car windows are growing and being improved.

Outside of the terminal, office and parking for rent-a-car return are under construction.

やっぱり急増中！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

市の職員に聞くと、やっぱり増えているようです。

外国人旅行客のレンタカー利用。

空港行くたびに、レンタカーの窓口がどんどん拡張・充実しています。

ターミナルの外でも乗り出し・リターンの事務所も新設工事が進んでいるようです。

Before we are aware of it!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This is a familiar road to the port of our town.

But there is unfamiliar view ahead of me.

Yes, the car in front of me is a rent-a-car driven by foreign tourist.
He/She made strange right turn into this road.

Recently we have more and more guests come to “TOUKA” by driving rent-a-car. It is no longer only in Okinawa and Hokkaido where foreign tourists enjoy driving. Nowadays they drive in such a local port town like this town. And we are sure that this trend will not stop.

When we realized, we may be driving in between rent-a-cars driving by GAIJIN drivers.

知らないうちに！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

我が港町へ向かういつもの道。

いつもとは違う光景が、、、

そう、前を走る車は外国人の運転するレンタカーです。
変な右折をして、この道に入ってきました。

最近、当宿「灯火」を利用するゲストにレンタカーご利用の方が増えてきました。
今や外国人観光客が運転するのは沖縄・北海道にとどまらないようです。こんな田舎町にもレンタカーを運転してくる時代です。そしておそらくこの傾向は止まりません。

気がついたら、ガイジンドライバーにはさまれてた、なんてこともあるかもしれません。
