Hazy day

Forecast of Sunday weather was warm and sunny and we expected comfortable weather.

But it was hazy from morning to evening, It was unusual but PM2.5 seemed to exceed the environmental standard level.

It is enough trouble for us with virus, but we are in the air with PM2.5, yellow dust from China, and soon with cedar pollen.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

この日曜日、予報では晴れて暖かくなるという予報だったので、とても楽しみにしていたのですが、、、

なんと朝からぼんやり空模様。珍しくPM2.5が環境基準値を超えていたようです。

ウィルスだけでも難儀なのに、微粒子やら、黄砂やら、さらにはスギ花粉までもが空気中に漂う季節です。

What U-turn means to us

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Kanmon strait is very calm in this weekend.

But there were various things on me during this week.

In the beginning of this week, I had to ride on specially equipped car unexpectedly.

I did realize that making U-turn to start business means not only coming back to my hometown, but also living close to my old parents who lives there.

My mother collapsed from a stroke last summer and stayed in hospital till the end of last year. My father became unable to move and transported to ER in local hospital this time. Fortunately both of them are resting at home in this weekend, though not completely cured yet. I don’t know what will happen next on them in near future.

During this changing season week, I decided to practice filial piety a little more, utilizing my condition/time after raising up my child.

Now COVID-19 pandemic spreads around the world and it may be good time to think about our original family. I do realize that I have not much time to be with them face to face. Thinking positively about this pandemic with reverse thinking, we are able to understand that our god (nature) gives us, human beings, a chance to think about it.

Ｕターンするということ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

週末の関門海峡は穏やかです。

振り返ると、この一週間は色々ありました。

週初めにはめったに乗ることのない（乗りたくもない）特殊な車に乗ることになったりして、、、

Ｕターンするということは、単純には生まれ故郷に戻るということですが、実はそこに住む親のそばで生活するということなんだと再認識しました。

昨夏には母が倒れて年末まで入院。今回は父が動けなくなってERのお世話に。幸い二人とも不自由こそあれ自宅での穏やかな暮らしに戻ることが出来て良かったのですが、これからどんなことが起きるのかは分かりません。

自らの子育てを終えた境遇を活かして、少しだけ親孝行もしたいと考えた節分ウィークでした。

世界に未曾有の感染が拡がる今、オリジナル・ファミリー（自らが生まれた家族）のことを考えるのも悪くありません。実際会って話せる時間は残り少ないことを実感します。今回のパンデミックについて、前向きに逆転の発想をすれば、神様（自然）が人類にそんなことを考えるように仕向けているのかもしれないと考えられなくもない気がします。

それでは、大切な人を大事なことを想う素敵な一日を！

うれしい逆転の発想 / Joyful Reverse Thinking

Joyful Reverse Thinking

Those in the know, know that there is one popular tropical fruit in this town.

It is “BANANA”.

This town had once functioned as major Banana import port and slash price street banana auction was started here as the by‐product of that. There is a big warehouse named “Banana Center” in this town and it contributes domestic banana market.

As a recent topic, on city officer who wore costume as fairy of banana to revitalize this town, elected as a city council member. We still have banana related hot episodes here.

Let us introduce one brand-new topic about banana. We found unique sales method of banana sale in a super market, which are from reverse thinking of slash prices yellow banana.

We think that this is cool idea considering consumers’ various favor and diversity. Same time, this doesn’t need additional cost but reduce stock cost and increase sales chance, So we do respect the promoter of this.

We expect such smart/positive reverse thinking and measure against COVID-19 pandemic.

うれしい逆転の発想

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

知っている人も多いのですが、この町にはとても縁の深い果物があります。

そう「バナナ」です。

バナナの輸入が始まった頃に輸入基地港として機能し、その副産物として「バナナの叩き売り」が生まれたのもこの町です。今なお港には「バナナセンター」なる倉庫があって、国内バナナ市場に貢献しているようです。

最近の話題では、バナナの精に扮したコスプレ好きの地域振興に熱い自治体職員が市会議員に当選するなど、バナナネタには事欠かないわが町です。

そんなふるさとのスーパーマーケットが「バナナの叩き売り」の発想とは真逆の売り方を試みているのを見つけてとても感心したので紹介します。

消費者の嗜好や多様性に対応しているこの町ならではの素晴らしいアイデアだと思います。さらにコストをかけずに、ストック費用を削減すると同時に販売機会も増やすという視点にも脱帽です。

新型コロナウィルスの感染拡大で続く重い空気も、なんらかの逆転の発想で払拭できると良いですね。

P.S. アボガドなどの例があるのに、いままでこの売り方のなかったことが不思議な感もなくはないですけれど。
