Autumn four day holidays have started with good weather as forecasted.
TV news says that not a few people are coming back to their hometown in this holidays.
So we recommend people of same generation with same hometown as the manager of this guesthouse to one spot.
There used to be four public high schools in this town. But they have been consolidated to new two schools, because of declining birthrate and young population outflow.
A place in where the memories of such four schools are gathered was moved to new location. The name of the place is “OMOIDE Station ( = station of the memories )”
It was moved this year to the “Kanmon Strait Museum”. There is an old street in the museum reproduced as the Taisho era. OMOIDE Station is on the second floor of the street now.
Dear people who used to be high school boys/girls in this town. How about visiting this station in stead of visiting your missing alma mater during your homecoming.
You might become nostalgic in your good and old memories.
According to weather forecast, it will be more clear today than yesterday.

心の帰省を
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
予報通りの良いお天気で秋の連休が始まりました。
ニュースで言っていました、夏に帰省できなかった人たちがこの連休に帰省していると。
宿主と同世代、同郷のみなさんにひとつオススメのスポットをご紹介します。
以前、この町には４つの公立高校がありました。それが少子化と若い世代の人口流出の影響で、今は別の２校に統廃合されてしまいました。
そんな今はなき４校の思い出を詰め込んだ場所「思ひ出ステーテョン」が今年移転しました。
移転先は「関門海峡ミュージアム」。その館内にある大正時代の港町を再現した通りの二階部分に移っています。その通りを抜け、階段を上がった先にその場所はあります。
この連休に帰省されている昔の高校生たちは、なくなってしまった母校に立ち寄る代わりにこちらを訪れてみてはいかがでしょう？
あの頃の思い出に浸れるかもしれません。
