In the last weekend of the Obon holiday,

fireworks were once again going off in this town, and we were able to watch them from this guesthouse.

However, after seeing the large and impressive fireworks at the Kanmon Strait Fireworks Festival on the 13th, we feel a bit dejected if it’s just a small fireworks event.

These days, the dreariness reminds me of the end of summer.

お盆休み最後の週末。

わが町ではまたまた花火があがり、当宿からも見物できました。

ただ13日の関門海峡花火大会の大きく迫力満点の花火を見てからは、ちょっとした花火程度だとなんかしょぼく感じてしまいます。

そして、そのしょぼさが夏の終わりを連想させるこのごろです。

Currently, Japan is in the final stages of the Obon one week holiday nationwide.

The news is all about the U-turn rush to return home from hometowns and travel destinations.

The host left the place without waiting for sunset as he would not be able to check in the guests in time.

Uターン・ラッシュ、疲れた運転手の気分になってみた」

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

現在、日本は全国的にお盆休みの最終盤です。

ニュースでは帰省先や旅行先から家に戻るUターン・ラッシュの話題で持ちきりです。

宿主は既にふるさとに戻っているので、ラッシュに巻き込まれることはないのですが、気分だけ味わってみようと行ってきました。

そのスポットは普段にはないほどの賑わいです。

Yes, it was the day of Kanmon Strait Firework Festival yesterday, Aug. 13.

We received an image from our guest who went to MOJIKO to see it and said “Unbelievable!” with surprising.

The host, who had never gone into the midst of all this to see fireworks before, found out why.

The reasons why they are not actively promoting this event.

This is because they have already attracted more than enough people.

Our guests seemed to feel that it would be dangerous in a sense, if more people came.

これがその理由！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

昨日、８月１３日はそう、関門海峡花火大会の開催日。

門司港まで見物に行ったゲストさんから「信じられない」と驚きの声と共に画像が届きました。

そんな渦中にまで、花火見物に行ったことのない宿主はようやくその理由を知りました。

なぜこのイベントを積極的に売り込まないのか、その理由をです。

もう十分過ぎるほど集客してしまっているからですね。

ゲストさんは、これ以上人が来るとある意味危険だろうとも感じていたようです。
