Anther miserable incident seemed to happen in this town.

at our favorite store.

When we parked our car in the parking of the store, we take care not to make inside of our car too hot by putting shade and open windows slightly, no matter someone stay in the car or not.

Things which need to be hot at the store must be enough only with hotdog and pizza.

We pray that similar sad incidents will not occur in future.

(I personally think that this is really regrettable incident, because I can understand how long-awaited the baby was born with seeing the baby’s name*. *喜寿生 = 喜(happy)寿(pleased)生(birth))

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

土曜日１９時のトップニュース！

またまた悲惨な事件が起きたみたいです。

それも、市内いきつけのスポットで、、、

この駐車場に車を停めて買い物に行く際は誰も乗っていなくても、窓を少し開ける、シェードを取り付けるなどしておかないと戻った時にサウナみたくなるのでいつも気をつけているスポットです。

このお店で温かくて良いのは、ホットドックと、ピザぐらいで十分なのに、、、

今後、同様の事件がまた起きないことを祈念して、、、

（今回の被害児童、どれだけ待望されて生まれてきたかその名前*を見れば明白なだけに、とってもざんねんな事件です。*喜寿生ちゃん）

Smart use of pandemic to our advantage

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Golden Week 2023 has ended finally.

Though it was a very busy hosting Golden Week whole period for us, we visited the very best flower spot, this city has been proud of, with our precious people during the first half and we could share the happiest moment each other. 

(Unfortunately the condition of flower was not best, because the global warming accelerated their full bloom.)

Speaking of wisteria flowers, the city of Kitakyushu is proud of, there was a remarkable output which we were very impressed as they did.

It is a tourist brochure specially for foreigners.

The brochure has wonderful cover picture.

With seeing the condition of the flowers on the branches and the ground under daylight, we guess photographer took it during the garden was closed in spite of their perfect blooming.

It is not like Kitakyushu in a good way that they could get the photo with flexible action and cool decision, isn’t it?

Some people said that we are seeing many foreign tourists in town, but it is absolutely scarce compared with Fukuoka city, according to our guests’ information/impression.

However we personally want to be smart appealing our guests quality spots in this town, where aren’t polluted by over-tourism.

P.S. Is it only us who expect tourist department of the city to provide the image file to promote the tourism of the area together.

パンデミックの上手な活用法

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

2023年のゴールデンウィークも終わってしまいましたね。

久々のおもてなしに明け暮れるゴールデンウィークでしたが、前半には大切な人たちとこの町きっての花のスポットを訪れることが出来たことがよい思い出になりました。

（温暖化のせいで満開が早まったため、ベストコンディションではありませんでしたが、、、）

北九州が誇る花といえば、今年はこの市がやったにしてはとても感心することがありました。

それはこの春入手した外国人観光客向けの市のパンフレット。

その表紙の画像がとても素晴らしかったのです。

陽の光の中の花の状態（咲いているもの、散って地面に落ちたもの）から見て、これはコロナ感染で満開にもかかわらず閉園していた時期に撮影されたものだと推測しました。

そんなフレキシブルで粋な采配からすばらしい作品が撮れたなんて、良い意味で北九州らしくないですよね。

（個人の施設を全面に出してアピールするのも、これまでのこの市にあるまじき姿勢です。）

北九州でも多くなったと言っても、ゲストの皆さんから話を聞くに、福岡市と比較すると外国人観光客の数は絶対的に少ないようです。

けれども、そんな観光公害(over-tourism)に侵されてない・されない良質のスポットに溢れたエリアとしてこの町を上手にアピールしていきたいと思います。

それでは、フレキシブルで粋に振る舞う素敵な一日を！
