A little autumn in a little guesthouse

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We thought that there are no autumn leaves which change color to yellow and red.

But there they are!

Ivy leaves along the concrete block wall of our garden are pretty red now.

They are a little vermilion but we like them very much.

We heard that today’s cold rain will scatter all autumn leaves in Japan. Could you enjoy autumn this year enough?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。

この宿には紅葉する木なんてないと思っていたら、、、

ありました！

庭のコンクリートのブロック塀に沿って、綺麗に紅葉しています。

ささやかな朱色ですが、結構気に入っています。

今日降る冷たい雨が、日本中の紅葉を散らしてしまうそうですが、秋は満喫できたでしょうか？

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Now at this guesthouse TOUKA on the hill, every time we open the door or the window, we get surrounded by wonderful fragrance immediately.

The source of the smell is the yellow flowers under the lighthouse.

Our neighbor’s fragrant olive is fully blooming now.

As we have calm sunny days lately, wind is not strong and the fragrance stays around this guesthouse.

Don’t you try to enjoy the good smell which surround you, when you open the window of our guest room.

期間限定！いい香りのする宿

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

今、坂の上の当宿「灯火」では、毎日ドアや窓をあけた途端にとってもいい香りに包まれます。

香りの元は灯台のすぐ下、お隣さんの金木犀が満開です。

ここのところ穏やかな天気が続いていることもあり、風が弱くて良い香りが宿周辺に留まっています。

This is TOUKA style!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We have been looking for a light for our terrace.

In these days, most of exterior lights are LED light, but it is quite tasteless.

So we could not find good one. However we found the light finally.

It is a little warm and natural light and the light sways a little bit.

This light is so TOUKA, isn’t it? And we really like it.

ぬくもり、、、要りませんか？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

テラスを照らす灯りをずっと探していました。

今どきエクステリアの照明といえばＬＥＤなんでしょうが、それではあまりに風情がない。

なかなか良いのを見つけられずにいたのですが、ようやくひとつ見つけることが出来ました。

ちょっと温かくて、ほのかに揺らぐ灯りです。

まさに当宿「灯火」らしい明かりだと大変気に入っています。
