Let’s be careful
A Happy New Year again to the World and Kanmon!
The first day 2022 of this Kanmon area was very calm whole day.
The first thing in the morning, we went to a beach to watch the first sunrise.
And the sun came up in the sky and the sunshine stopped recent cold weather.
After came back to this guesthouse, we prepared New Year’s decoration on this building.
However, after the sunset, we looked at the other side of the strait, we found some thing different and heard sirens from a distance.
I checked through the internet and it seemed be a big fire there.
Thank you and you have a wonderful new year, without any disaster.

気をつけよう
世界中に新年が、そして関門にも2022年がやって来ました。
あらてめまして、おめでとうございます。
ここ関門エリアの元旦は終日穏やかでした。
朝一番の初日の出*がそのまま空に昇り、
（ *初日の出、今年は気分を変えて海岸から望みました。）
陽の光のおかげで寒さの緩む一日となりました。
そんな光を浴びながら、今年一年穏やかに過ごしたいと考えながら、正月のお飾りを出したりしました。
ところが、夜になって窓の外を見ると、いつものきらめく夜景のなかに、違和感ある光景を発見。遠いサイレンの音も聞こえてきました。
調べてみると、どうも結構大きな火事だったようです。
それでは、どうぞ災害を起こさない・巻き込まれない素敵な一年を！
