Here in the Kanmon area, the heat has subsided considerably in the morning, regardless of day or night.

Even during the day, the sounds of the Tsukutsukuboushi cicada are starting to mix in.

(*Tsukutsukuboushi is a kind of cicada who tells us that summer is ending.)

Now that I think about it, it may have been because of the rain that fell so heavily on Sunday morning that our guests delayed their check-out time.

The season seems to be definitely shifting towards autumn.

And now, an extremely strong typhoon is heading here, Kyushu island.

お気に入りのトンネル

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

ここ関門エリア、昼夜はともかく朝はずいぶんと暑さが弱まってきました。

昼間もいよいよツクツクボウシの鳴き声が混ざるようになってきました。

今思えば、日曜の朝、ゲストさんがチェックアウトの時間を遅らすほど激しく降ったあの雨のせいかもしれません。

季節は確実に秋へとシフトしているようです。

そして今、極めて強い台風がこちらに向かっています。

Pulled by the typhoon

Just a few days ago, the night sky was filled with summer fireworks,

but now we are starting to hear the sounds of autumn insects.

Is it because the new born typhoon brought here a slightly cooler wind?

It’s still midsummer hot during day time, so it might be a good time to enjoy two seasons during the day and night.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

つい数日前まで、夏の花火が上がっていた夜空に、、、

台風にすこしだけ涼しい風が引っぱられたせいでしょうか？

まだ昼間は真夏の暑さなので、昼と夜とでふたつの季節を味わえるお得な季節かもしれません。

The important thing Google won’t tell us!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This is about a trouble, we’ve been having often lately.

Guests, who didn’t contact us until check-in day, sent us message on the day of the check-in and mentioned “We’re on our way by car and we’ll go to your guesthouse by ourselves, so do not worry about our coming. (After translation)”.

However, accessing our guesthouse is not so easy.

Please refer to this accident I saw yesterday… It looks like a delivery car was trying to deliver a package up the hill.

In the 8 years since we opened, we have seen similar incidents 5 times, including one caused by our guest. (That is, more than once every two years!)

If this happens, nearby residents will also become unable to pass through the road until the problem will be resolved, which can become a big problem for whole this town.

Please do not come to this guesthouse by car! Everyone who causes trouble is mistaken.

Google Map only shows us in two dimensions*. (*Yahoo Maps may be better in that respect.)

Googleが教えてくれない大事なこと！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

最近、ちょこちょこある困りごと、、、、

チェックインまで何にも連絡をくれなくて、当日になって「今、私たちは車で向かっていて、自分たちで家に行きますので大丈夫です。（翻訳後）」と連絡をくれるゲストさん。

でも、当宿へのアクセスは一筋縄ではいきません。

昨日見かけたこんなトラブル、、、坂の上にお届け物を届けようとした配達の車のようです。

開業８年で同様のエンコは、当宿のゲストさんが起こしたのも含めて５回見ました。（つまり、二年に一回以上！）

こうなってしまうと、トラブル解消までの間、近隣住民も道を通れなくなるため、その方だけの問題を越えて、この町の一大事になってしまいます。

くれぐれも、当宿には車で来てはいけません！トラブル起こす人は皆さん勘違いしています。

Googleマップは二次元*でしか教えてくれません。(*この点はYahoo マップの方が優れているかも）
