Looking back, it was my memorable trip!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This time, I took a day trip to southern Fukuoka(?) and…

I noticed a name that sounded familiar to me, when I left the last restaurant.

What I noticed was the name of the bus stop next to the restaurant!

It was a high school where I often came to play games when I was a high school student.

The field that holds all these memories was right behind the ramen shop.

Thinking about it, the place had been beautifully renovated, but the field I found after seeing the Chikugo River was also the place where I had run around several times during the prefectural tournament back then.

After enjoying some cheap and delicious local cuisine, the day trip was a time when I was reminiscing on fond yet bitter memories from over 40 years ago.

(Why it was bitter is a secret…lol)

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今回の福岡南方(?)への日帰りトリップですが、、、

最後のお店を出たところで、そこにはなんか懐かしい光景がありました。

気がついたのはお店の横のバス停の名称！

学生時代に頻繁に試合しにきた高校でした。

なんとラーメン屋のすぐ裏が思い出のグランドでした。

よく考えると、見違えるほどキレイになっていましたが、筑後川を見た後で見つけたグランドもまた当時県大会で何度か走り回った場所でした。

安くて美味しい郷土料理をいくつか満喫した後で、四十数年前の懐かしくも苦い思い出を噛みしめる日帰り旅となりました。

（なぜ苦いかは秘密、、、笑）

Breaking the Rules in Reverse Order!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The last spot on our exploration day was…

the restaurant that I recommended to our guests a little early.

Why was I able to get a false advice?

This is because it was featured on a TV program that I have been following by visiting same place as sacred sites for a long time.

After watching their program about the restaurant, I was convinced that this place couldn’t go wrong, so I was able to recommend it to our guests before using it by myself.

And above all, I thought “No one can complain at this price!”

So, when I really tasted it, I felt just as impressed as the guests. (Though in the opposite order…)

All the guests who have visited have sent us amazing photos of the ramen and Kaedama (= additional noodle).

Since there are quite a lot of students (and occasionally high school students) among our overseas guests, I vowed to definitely recommend it to any budget-conscious guests.

掟破りの順序逆っ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

探索の日、最後のスポットは、、、

ちょっとフライングしてゲストさんに勧めてしまったお店です。

なんで、フライング出来たかって？

ずっと聖地巡りしているある番組で取り上げられていたからです。

番組を見た後で、ここなら間違いないだろうと確信したので、自分自身が利用する前にゲストさんんに行ってみれば？と勧めることができたという次第です。

それになによりも「この値段なら文句出ないよな」と思ったから！

で、実食して感じたのは、

ゲストさんが感動したと同じぐらい感動出来ました。（順序が逆ですが、、、）

こちらを訪れたゲストさんは誰もが感動の画像を送ってくれています。

結構、海外のゲストさんの中には学生さん（たまに高校生も）多いので、節約志向のゲストさんには必ずやオススメしようと誓ったのでした。

This is what we are looking for!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The host began exploring our Fukuoka prefecture.

What exactly he was looking for?

That’s… this!

There are many delicious foods all over Japan, but the criteria that the host holds dear are

“cheap” and delicious.

Expensive food must be delicious.

Leaving such things to the taste-deprived folks who can only judge whether something is good or bad based on the amount of money paid, the host has been exploring on his own terms.

Don’t you feel the love of the restaurant staff just by the fact that they offer meals at such low prices?

And when we find that the menu is good, that love is worthy of respect.

It is because of this love that we feel that we can proudly recommend this restaurant to our guests.

Naturally, this resulted in positive feedback from the guests.

Our guesthouse does not engage in any town revitalization activities as is commonly said in Japan.

Instead, we strive (and enjoy) to provide useful local information, which is the basis of lodging, and to help guests fall in love with this area.

I feel like this might actually be a lodging’s basic way of revitalizing the town.

これぞ、探し求めているものっ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

宿主による我が福岡県の探索が始まりました。

探索っていっても、一体何を探すんでしょうか？

それは、、、これっ！

日本国中、旨いものはたくさんありますが、、、宿主が大切にしている基準は、

「安くて」美味しいもの。

高くて美味しいのは当たり前。

そんなもんは払ったお金の額でしか旨い不味いが判断できない味覚音痴に任せて、宿主は独自路線で探索を繰り広げてきました。

食事を安く提供していることだけでも、お店の人の愛を感じませんか？

それが旨いんだから、その愛は敬意するに値します。

そんな愛あるお店だから、当宿では積極的に胸を張ってゲストさんに紹介できるんです。

もちろんその結果、ゲストさんからも良いフィードバックが返ってくる。

当宿では巷でよく言われるような町おこし的な活動はしません。

その代わりに宿屋の基本である地域情報をもって、ゲストさんたちにこのエリアを好きになってもらう、そんなやりとりを心がけて（楽しんで）います。

これってもしかしたら本来・ホントの宿屋の町おこしなんじゃないかなと感じています。
