９月も三分の一過ぎましたが、まだまだ暑い日が続いています。

そこに蒸し暑さが加わったりしています。

けれども、ここ灯台下のゲストハウスから見ていると、、、

A few days ago, shocking news was broadcasted.

The company being acquired is a restaurant franchise that represents this city, and is restaurants that is frequently used by our guests.

The store in this town is within walking distance from this guesthouse and is open 24 hours a day. So it is very useful for our guests who check in very late.

It seems that there are many customers using the store today.

I can’t believe this shop with such a strong local flavor is now under the umbrella of a Tokyo company!

However, although this takeover drama is subtle for the host, it is by no means negative.

This is because I am also familiar with the large restaurant chain that is planning to acquire this local company.

This is because when I was a salaried worker, the company I worked for and this major restaurant chain’s headquarters locate very close to each other, and there were an unusually large number of affiliated chain restaurants in the surrounding area, and when I was an administrative staff, they were very useful as a banquet venue for casual settings to the party requirements those I don’t like.

I wonder if the local taste of Kitakyushu will be included in such restaurants? I don’t think I will visit it, but I’m a little interested in it.

SUKESAN おまえもか？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今から数日前、衝撃的なニュースが報じられました。

我が街を代表する外食フランチャイズで、当宿のゲストさんもよく利用されているお店です。

なかでもこの町にある店舗は、当宿から徒歩圏内で行けて、２４時間営業なので超遅い時間にチェックインされるゲストさんにも重宝されています。

そのお店では今日もたくさんの客が利用しているようです。

そんな地元色の強いこのお店が、東京の企業の傘下に入るなんて！

けれども、この買収劇、宿主にとっては微妙ではありますが、決して否定的ではありません。

というのも、今回買収を計画している大手外食チェーンにも親しみを持っているからです。

なぜなら、サラリーマン時代、勤めていた会社とこの大手外食チェーンとは本社同士が激近で周辺には傘下のチェーン店舗が異様にたくさんあって、下積み時代は気乗りのしない設定の宴会会場として重宝していたからです。

そんな店舗の中に、北九州の味も仲間入りするのかな？と利用することこそありませんが、ちょっと興味があったりしています。

それでは、慣れ親しんだ郷土料理を堪能する素敵な一日を！

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This weekend, as the month changed and I thought summer was over, but I heard a popping sound from far away.

At first I thought those were the sound of cars passing over a bump in the road, however

when I suddenly looked out across the strait, I saw fireworks going off on the other side.

Unfortunately, I realized it too late, and although I was able to see the final fireworks display, I couldn’t turn on my camera in time, and the resulting image turned out to be a little poor one.

If I had turned on 0.2 seconds earlier, I could have zoomed in a little more and got a nice shot of the night view, fireworks, and red crescent moon. It’s too late to be sorry.

0.2秒遅れのミスショット

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

この週末、月も変わって、もう夏も終わりと思っていたら、遠くからポンポンと破裂音。

最初は車が道路の段差を通過する音かと思っていたら、、、

ふと海峡を眺めてみると、対岸で花火が上がっているではないですか。

気付くのが遅かったのが災いして、最後の乱れ打ちは見れたものの、カメラの起動が間に合わず、イマイチの画像になってしまいました。

あと0.2秒早かったら、もう少しズームピントを合わせて夜景と花火と赤い三日月が綺麗に撮れたのに、後悔先に立たず。

それでは、良くも悪くも周囲の変化は敏感に察知・対応して素敵な一日を！
