Enjoying summer with eyes
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
As it is too hot to feel summer with our body, how about enjoying summer with eyes.
Pictures are the summer plants 2023 which are very active with summer sky as their background.
On such hot summer day, I heard very interesting information at a fruits stand.
“As it is very hot and sunny this summer, fruit harvest is pretty good this year, isn’t it?” I asked.
“Good at quantity but harvesting period is pretty short” the shop’s old lady taught me. “Pears are already starting to hit the market and that makes us feel worry that makes our business period very short this year.
Not only scorching heat, but actual damages seem to become more noticeable in various places.

目で見る夏
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
身体で感じる夏が辛すぎる昨今、目で見て楽しむ夏はどうでしょう？
夏空をバックに、夏の植物が元気な2023年です。
そんな暑い夏ですが、気になる話を果物の直売所で聞きました。
「今年は晴れて暑いので、果物の出来もさぞかし良いんでしょうね？」と問いかけると、
「出来はいいけど、時期がとても短い」と答えが返ってきました。「すでに梨も出回り始めていて、商売できる時期が短くなりそうで心配」と嘆いていました。
猛暑だけでなく、地球温暖化の実害がさらに色々なところで目立つようになっている今日この頃です。
