Chaos!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
As introduced(?) on the national news in Japan, our town was in chaos on Sunday!
It’s no exaggeration to say that the rain was falling like a torrent, and visibility was extremely poor.
The road leading to this guesthouse is just like Fukuroda Falls (Ibaraki)!
But the real challenge was the guests.
It seems that both the guests who checked out and the guests who checked in had an unexpectedly disastrous trip.
This was because the Shinkansen, JR Kyushu, Nishitetsu buses, and even the expressways were all closed, making it a difficult situation for both people who want to leave and come to Kitakyushu.
By the evening the rain had almost stopped, so we couldn’t understand the situation.
The guests were originally scheduled to arrive at 4pm, but ended up taking a taxi from Hakata and getting stuck in traffic jam, so ended up arriving at 2am.
The host’s only hope was that the trip to Kitakyushu would not become a bad memory for the guests.

大混乱！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
日本全国版のニュースで紹介(?)された通り、日曜日の我が町はてんやわんや！
けっして大袈裟な表現ではない滝のような雨が降り、視界も全然悪い状態。
当宿に続く道はまるで袋田の滝（茨城）！
でも本当に大変だったのはゲストさん。
チェックアウトされたゲストさんも、チェックインするゲストさんも想定外の散々な旅になったようです。
というのも新幹線、JR九州に西鉄バス、高速道路まで通行止めになってしまい、北九州から出れない、来れない大変な状況だったようです。
夕方にはもう雨もほとんどあがっていたので、そのギャップが理解できない状態でした。
本来なら４時に到着予定だったゲストさんは、博多からタクシーで来ることになった上に渋滞に巻き込まれて、結局深夜２時の到着。
北九州への旅が、悪い思い出にならないよう、それだけを祈る宿主でした。
