Cold spring rain

Unfortunately, it rained in the Kanmon area on Wednesday.

The previous day, Tuesday, we made our own declaration that the cherry blossoms had bloomed here in Komorie…

And then on Wednesday, the City of Kitakyushu also made its own declaration of cherry blossoms blooming…

However, it’s a disappointing spring rain.

But the cherry blossoms have only just begun to bloom, and it doesn’t seem like this rain will cause them to fall,

so we hope it rains very much while we can. As water shortages are a concern these days.

水曜日の関門エリアはあいにくの雨。

前日の火曜日、当宿独自にここ小森江での桜の開花宣言をしたのに、、、

水曜日にはここ北九州としても独自の桜の開花宣言をしたのに、、、

残念な春の雨です。

けれども、桜は咲き始めたばかりで、この雨ではまだ散ることもなさそうなので、

今のうちにしっかり振っておいて欲しいですね。水不足も心配されるこの頃だし、、、

ようやく、ここ小森江でも、、、/ Finally, here in Komorie…

Finally, here in Komorie…

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Compared to other parts of Japan, Fukuoka seems to be lagging behind, but

on Tuesday, we were able to see cherry blossoms blooming in Fukuoka and also here in Komorie.

We were able to confirm that the cherry tree in this town, which this guesthouse “TOUKA” has arbitrarily designated as the sample tree, is also in bloom with five cherry blossoms.

ようやく、ここ小森江でも、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

他の日本各地と比べて、福岡は出遅れている感がありますが、

火曜日、福岡でも、そして、ここ小森江でも、

桜の開花を見ることができました。

当宿「灯火」が勝手に標本木だと決めているこの町の桜の木にも、五輪の桜の花が開花していることを確認できました。

Noticing the season

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

t’s been quite some time since Japan began attracting large numbers of tourists from abroad, but…

The greatest charm of this country, Nippon, is undoubtedly its changing seasons.

As a result, many visitors naturally become repeat tourists, wanting to come back in a different season.

We Japanese people know about these seasonal changes in various ways.

Things like the melting snow, the temperature of the water coming out of the tap, the colors of the plants and trees, the greetings of TV announcers, and so on…

At this guesthouse, you can experience the changing seasons in our own unique way.

For example, nowadays, sunset is one such example.

After the spring equinox, the sunset, which has shifted northward from behind the apartment building, suddenly becomes visible.

Unlike the afternoon sun in autumn, the setting sun in spring brings a gentle warmth into our rooms.

季節を知る

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

日本に外国から大勢の観光客が押し寄せるようになって久しいですが、、、

この国、にっぽんの魅力は、なんといっても四季の移り変わりでしょう。

そのため、今度は違う季節に来てみようとリピーターも自然と多くなるようです。

そうした季節の移り変わりを、私たち日本人はいろいろな方法で知ります。

雪解けや、蛇口から出る水の温度、草木の色や、テレビアナウンサーの挨拶などなど、、、

当宿でも独自の方法で季節の移り変わりを感じることができます。

例えば今では、日の入りがそれです。

お彼岸を過ぎると、アパートの陰から北にシフトしてきた日の入りが急に見えるようになるんです。

春の西陽は、秋のそれとは違って、優しい暖かさを室内に届けてくれます。
