The knock on that window

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As we were preparing for the next guest to check in…

Suddenly, a sound like lots of pebbles hitting something echoed throughout the building.

Wondering what it was, I went over to the window and saw rain pounding against it,

the rain mixed with ice particles…

The next moment, the temperature drops down again, and winter returns to the Kanmon area.

When on earth will spring come?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

次のゲストさんのチェックインに向けて準備をしていると、、、

突然、建物全体にたくさんの小石が当たるような音が響き渡ります。

一体何だろうと窓のそばに行くと、雨が窓に打ちつけています。

氷の粒が混じった雨が、、、

その次の瞬間、気温がまた一段と下がり、関門エリアは冬の再来です。

春はいったいいつ来るのでしょう？

それでは、雨の中で深呼吸を楽しむ素敵な一日を！

Something hard hits my hand!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Monday in the Kanmon area… I went shopping for lodging and when I came back and got out of the car,

I felt something hard hitting my hand.

I took a closer look and saw a small chunk of ice on the hood…it looked like hail or some kind of sleet had fallen.

I thought it was a bit cold, but it turns out it’s just a return of the cold weather.

It looks like it will be colder on Monday than on Sunday, and colder on Tuesday than on Monday.

なんだか固いものが手にあたる！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

月曜日の関門エリア、、、宿の買い出しに出掛けて戻ってきて、車から降りると、

なんかちょっと固いものがバチバチと手に当たっています。

なんだろうとよく見るとボンネットに小さな氷の塊、、、雹だか霰だかが降ってきたようです。

寒いと思ったら、寒の戻りなんですね。

日曜日よりも月曜日、月曜日よりも火曜日と寒くなるようです。

雨降って、パート２ / After the rain, Part 2

After the rain, Part 2

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The rain hit the window and it turned into a hard sound suddenly. I wondered and open the window.

And ice grains jumped into the room.

But the rain this week is not only cold.

And not only bad.

Just after the rain, what I saw was lowest rainbow in my life. The rainbow disappeared soon, but appeared again with more color.

This means that something good may happen soon, does it?

Is it the complete end of COVID-19 infection? or the end of copycat murder/arson* in train?
(*Now in Japan, such crimes have happened continuously and the criminals kept saying that they copycatted the former crime. If those incidents happen in the U.S., gun sales must increase suddenly. Personally I feel uneasy about this situation.)

雨降って、パート２

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

窓に打ち付ける雨の音がバチバチという音に変わったので、不思議に思って窓を開けたら、、、

氷の粒が家の中に飛び込んできました。

でも、今週の雨は冷たいだけではないようです。

そして悪いことばかりじゃないようです。

自分史上見たことないくらい低い虹でした。そして一度消え、雨が降って、またハッキリと現れました。

これは、、、良いことがあるかもですね。

コロナの完全終息でしょうか？それとも電車内放火・暴行の模倣犯のストップでしょうか？
（今、日本では電車内でナイフを振り回したり、燃料をまいて放火する事件が立て続けに起こっています。もしここがアメリカだったら銃の売上が急増しそうな状況で、個人的にはそんな風潮をとても危惧しています。）
