Looking back, exactly 10 years ago today…

I decided to quit the job at the company I had been working for for 27 years.
 
Since that time, many things have happened and I have met many different people over the past ten years.
 
And one thing is certain even now: that I did make the right decision ten years ago. I’m positive about it
 
I now realize that the decision I made on my 50th birthday was the turning point that would set me on a completely different path for the rest of my life.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
 
思い起こせば、今からちょうど十年前の今日、、、

２７年間勤めてきた仕事を辞める決断をしました。
 
思えばこの十年間、色々なことがありました。さまざまな人と出会うことができました。
 
そして今でもひとつ確かなのは、十年前のあの決断は間違っていなかった、ということ。
 
５０歳の誕生日のあの決心は、その後の人生をそれまでとは全く違う流れに乗せるための潮目だったんだと今更ながら思います。
 
それでは、ここからさらに人生を楽しむ素敵な一日を！

I heard a wonderful news!

Since I made early retirement and start this guesthouse, I have heard many of my friends and colleague dreaming to challenge for themselves, if they would get a chance.

It seems that their turn is coming just now, because pandemic has made big wave of offering voluntary retirement among many companies in Japan.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

なんとも耳寄りなニュースが飛び込んできました。

自分が早期退職〜宿泊施設を開業して以来、同期・同級の多くから「希望退職の機会が巡ってきたら自身も積極的に動きたい」という夢を聞いてきました。
