It can come any time

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Sunday, the sky was overcast after we saw our guests off.

I was thinking that the start of the rainy season could be declared at any time…

Sure enough, it was announced in the night.

However, the skies in the Kanmon area seemed to hold up,

and guests sent us happy messages and pictures saying he had enjoyed the fish market, the port town, and even the Tonkotsu ramen we recommended.

We wonder why it makes us happy when someone enjoys a spot we recommend to them, considering the type of guests.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

日曜日、ゲストさんを送り出した後の空模様はどんより。

いつ梅雨入りが宣言されてもおかしくないな、と思っていたら、、、

案の定、夜になって梅雨入りが発表されました。

とはいっても、関門エリアの空はなんとか持ち堪えたようで、

ゲストさんからは、アドバイスした魚市場も、港町も、とんこつラーメンまで楽しめましたと喜びのメッセージと画像とが送られてきました。

ゲストのタイプまで考慮してお勧めしたスポットを喜んでもらえると、こちらまでうれしくなるのはなんででしょうね。

Haven’t seen it in a while

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Thursday the Kanmon area started off with cloudy skies again, with just a few blue patches.

I can’t remember seeing a clear, sunny sky since the beginning of March.

In the afternoon, the area of blue sky began to expand a little.

So, if you ask me, do I want the weather to clear up?

It’s March now and I’m feeling a bit strange about the weather, but to be honest I’d be happier if it rained.

ひさしく見てない

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

木曜日の関門エリアは少しだけ青い部分があるもまたまたくもり空で始まりました。

三月に入ってスッキリ晴れた日を見た記憶がないなぁと思っていると、

午後になって少し青空の面積が広がってきました。

では、晴れ上がってほしいのか？といえば、、、

季節柄ちょっと微妙な気分で、正直いうと雨の方がうれしかったりする三月です。

まもなく / Soon

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Tomorrow on July 7th, we will have TANABATA festival (Japanese star festival) all over Japan.

We had celebrated the festival with out guests writing our wish on strips of paper and hang them from bamboo branches with other paper decorations.

It is disappointing that we haven’t been able to do like that in these 3 years.

Japanese people celebrate TANABATA on July 7th, but we wonder how the weather will be.

We are afraid that we will not be able to see the starry sky on TANABATA day, due to the typhoon and extratropical cyclone turned from the typhoon which are going through this country now.

まもなく

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

明日７月７日は七夕です。

コロナ前にはゲストと一緒に短冊に願いを書いて笹に飾ったりしましたが、、、

そういうことが出来ないのがとても残念です。

七夕は日本全国で祝われますが、今年はどうでしょう？

今週日本列島を駆け抜ける台風４号とそれが変わった温帯低気圧の影響で、星空が見れるかどうかは微妙なところですね。

それでは、いつもは会えない大切な何かと巡り合う素敵な一日を！
