The poorest, the third poorest!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As it was reported in recent national news, some Japanese might already know 

that brand-new mayor of this city was selected last weekend.

During the campaign period, I got informed that this city seems to be in terrible financial condition.

It is the third worst in all local governments and the worst in government ordinance cities.

With knowing the situation, I became very uneasy, because I remembered YUBARI in Hokkaido where I stopped by, during motorcycle touring around Hokkaido.

Honestly speaking, I have believed that Kitakyushu is very wealthy, as it has nice and big Tokyo office in the building just in front of Ginza/Yurakucho-station, the most expensive office area in Japan.

To make matters worse, previous head of this city has tried to increase its debts.

It is the frank opinion of a man who is thinking to live in this city rest of his life, that now is not the time to increase the debts.

( Normal people can feel that SDGs supported by debts is something strange/wrong idea.)

What the city has to do first is to clear the debts ASAP.

(If the debts won’t seem to decrease in two years, the debts will be divided for 15 yeas and the payment of councilmen, officers should be deducted for 15 years to the amount. Finance reform requires that kind of determination on their part.)

一番貧乏、三番目に貧乏！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

全国版のニュースでも取り上げられていたので、日本人ならご存知の方も少なくないと思いますが、、、

先の週末、我が街のトップが刷新されました。

その選挙期間中に知ったんですが、どうもこの市は国内有数の借金自治体のようなんです。全自治体ではワースト３位、政令指定都市の中では最悪！

このニュースに触れて、１０数年前バイクツーリングのついでに立ち寄った夕張の様子が思い出されて、なんかすごく不安になってきました。

正直なところ、北九州市って東京は銀座・有楽町の駅前の一等地にひろびろオフィスまで構えて悠長に移住者勧誘しているから、てっきり懐事情は極めて潤沢なのかと勘違いしてました。

こんな財政状況にも関わらず、前市政ではさらなる借金も繰り返していたようで、

ちゃっ、ちゃっ言いながら借金を繰り返している場合ではないだろ！というのがこの街を終の住処にしたいと考えている者の想いです。

（ 借金でSDGsって、まともな人間が考えると「なんか変」だと思うんですが、、、）

どう言い訳しても「借金」なんだから、チャっ、チャっと返していかないとね。

（もし二年で債務が減少に転じないなら、借金を１５年均等割にして、役人の頭数で累進配分して手当・退職金・議員手当から天引きする、そのぐらいの背水の陣で財政再建進めてほしいです。）
