Tasty big bite!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Here in Kanmon, temperature was way hotter Wednesday than Tuesday!

I finished guesthouse jobs in early morning and looking back this May again in the cool space.

Temperature become very hot suddenly in the second half of May, but it was moderate and comfortable in early May.

It was the best climate to enjoy BBQ here. Our BBQ is not YAKINIKU (Korean style BBQ), but American BBQ.

We all bit both hamburgers and baby back ribs together.

This must be one of guesthouse eating culture.

We can prepare BBQ* grill for the guests who want to bring their own material and enjoy cooking.

おいしくガブリ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

水曜日の関門エリアはさらに暑い真夏日。

掃除などのゲストハウス・ルーチンは早めに済ませて、涼しい室内でやっぱり５月前半を振り返ってみます。

５月は後半に入ってから、急激に気温が上がりましたが、前半はとっても快適！

BBQに最適の気候でした。 焼肉＝コリアンBBQではありませんよ。ここではBBQはアメリカン。

これもまたゲストハウスらしい食文化ですね。

希望されるゲストには火おこしまでした状態で持ち込み食材を調理いただけます（有料 ＆ 住宅地なので20:00まで）。

Corona is a drink!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In Japan, we are going back to rainy depressing weather again.

When it will be fine again, we want to eat out.

Not going out to eat, we want to eat outdoor.

Hopefully staying home or staying at guesthouse.

I’ve been getting into these (broad beans) lately since our guest brought them here.

We grilled them this time. They were so good that we didn’t need any seasonings nor even salt.

コロナは、、、飲み物！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本ではまたしばらく鬱陶しい天気が続きそうですが、、、

また少し天気が回復したら、外で食事したいですね。

外といっても外食ではなく、屋外で！

Recommended places to visit in current Japan (3)

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

After staying Nagano and Yamanashi, the central part of Japan, next stop must be Shizuoka.

Yes, the next recommended place to visit in Japan is “Great Fuji Mountain”.

When we use Shinkansen or Highway, we can watch the mountain very short time, only a glance.
So I did want to enjoy watching beautiful shaped mountain as much as I like, not by climbing it. And my wish came true.

Camping field is so huge that we cannot understand what they talk in next tent site.

After I enjoyed petit BBQ by myself, I made myself warmed up by hot whiskey, watching the shadow of mountain with starry sky as its background.

Not to make myself cold, I slid into my sleeping bag and got deep sleep and vanilla sky made me up before the sunrise.

In the morning, I enjoyed the Japanese nature and cowboy style breakfast described in the short novel “Breakfast” by John Steinbeck, which I red in the school literature text book.

人との接触を避けて過ごす休暇のすゝめ （その３）

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

長野・山梨と、日本のど真ん中を南下してくれば、次はやっぱり静岡です。

そう、三番目のオススメは「大富士」です。

高速道路や新幹線を利用して移動している際に、見えるのはほんの短い間。
富士山をおもいっきり満喫したいというかねてよりの願いが叶いました。登山ではなくて美しい富士山の姿をずっと眺めていたいという想いです。

キャンプ場はだだっ広くて、隣のサイトとは声も分からないぐらいの距離をキープできます。

かんたんなBBQを楽しんだ後は、星空にぼんやり浮かび上がる富士山を肴に温かいウィスキーで暖を取ります。

身体が冷えないよう、早めに寝袋に潜り込んでぐっすり眠れば、目覚ましがなくても白んだ空が日の出前に起こしてくれます。

朝は学生だったころ教科書にあったスタインベックの朝めしのような朝食と濃いめのコーヒーを飲みながら、ザ・日本の自然を満喫します。

（※注意：連休や土曜日などは結構混むようで、この広いスペースでも「密集」状態がクリアできないかもしれません。予約カレンダーを見ると、しばらく満員状態のようです。東京圏ってやっぱり異常ですね。）
