My best way, from KANSAI, to KANMON!
Good morning to the World, Kansai and Kanmon!
Previous Sunday, in the morning on Tohmei-Expressway.
After refreshing in Onsen (Hot spring) and sleeping well on a massage chair,
I drove straight to Kobe, a port town, watching Mt. Fuji in side mirror.
A kind lady in Suita SA taught me convenient local roads, and that made me arrive at Kobe Port Island, one hour earlier than my original plan.
My final destination in Port Island of the day is:
Yes, “Ferry Terminal”!
I was with my little car on the quay, to board on the ferry boat which will leave 8:00pm on weekend (6:00pm is ordinal time on weekday).
There was a big ferry boat, like boats which I always see from TOUKA, opening it s mouse and waiting for us. I think that 8:00pm ferry boat is a one of good choices to Kyushu Island, because it is reasonable both money wise and time wise and bring us there during we are sleeping.
It was ordinal Sunday and the next day is normal Monday. So not many people in the boat.
Specially 2nd Class passengers’ room, which is the cheapest I chose, was only three people in it. There was no worry for my tossing and turning during the night, because I will be dizzy before hitting somebody after turing.
Room pace per one passenger was quite bigger than that of gorgeous passenger ship such as Asuka.
After taking bath before departure, I stayed on the deck watching harbor lights of Kobe. It was a most wonderful moment of my style moving on the ship.
This may be my best choice to move from Kansai to my home area Kanmon. I really thought so, watching blinking city lights of Kobe.
(I will recommend our future guest who want to drive around Japan.)
That time on the deck, I didn’t know yet that a precious and happy encounter would come next after that.

世界中に朝が、そして関西、さらに関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
先の日曜日、朝の東名。
気持ちのよい温泉でひと風呂浴びて、マッサージ・チェアでぐっすり眠った後は、、、
サイドミラーの中の富士山に見送られて、
一気に神戸へ！
吹田で便利な下道を教えてもらい、予定を1時間早くポートアイランドに到着。
ポーアイ目的地は、、、
そう、フェリー・ターミナル！
金曜日、土曜日と日曜日、週末限定で、20:00発のフェリーに乗り込むために埠頭へ。
そこにはいつも「灯火」から見ているような大きな船が、口を開けて(?)待っていました。 PM8:00発のフェリー・ルートは、ひと眠りしている間に車と自分とを九州へ運んでくれる結構お得な交通手段です。（費用的にも、時間的にも、）
この日は普通の日曜日、翌日は月曜ということもあって、二等客室は大部屋に3名のみ。
寝相悪くごろごろ転がっても、隣とぶつかることのない余裕の広さでした。（ぶつかる前に目がまわるかな。） 一人あたりの客室占有面積は、豪華客船「飛鳥」より広いかと。
すぐに風呂でサッパリした後は、火照った身体をデッキで冷ますという船旅ならではの素敵な時間を楽しむのでありました。
チラチラとまたたく神戸の街の灯りに見送られながら、関西と関門間のアクセスにフェリーという選択肢はあるなぁ、と考えていました。
（そのうち出会うであろう、さらに進んだ外国人ゲストが車で日本をまわる際には、是非このルートも勧めたいですね。）
そして、そのフェリーで素敵な出会いが訪れようとは、その時点の自分はまったく気付いていないのでした。
