It’s about time for the next

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

When I check the cherry blossoms here in Fukuoka Prefecture,

the signs “starting to fall” are becoming more and more prominent.

The situation is similar here in Kitakyushu, at famous cherry blossom spots.

Usually, it’s a little sad when the cherry blossom season ends,

but that’s not the case in Kitakyushu.

It is because these will bloom soon after the cherry blossoms season have finished.

And they will bloom with such quality that the whole world will be captivated!

At this guesthouse, reservations have been filling up with that flower viewing guests since the end of April.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

ここ福岡県のさくらの開花状況を確認すると、、、

「散り始め」という表示が目立つようになってきました。

その状況はここ北九州市内のさくらの名所でも同様です。

一般的にさくらの花のシーズンが終わるのは少し寂しかったりしますが、、、

北九州にあってはそんなことはありません。

なぜなら、さくらが終わってもすぐ後にはコレが咲くからです。

I had visited the garden on off day between our guests stay here every year.

Pictures are taken in these years by order. 2017, 2018, 2019, *, 2021.
(* The garden was closed whole period in 2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic.)

毎年ゲストさんの利用の切れ間に見に行っていた花咲く山。

画像は順に、2017年・2018年・2019年・2021年に撮影したもの。

Good luck with leftovers!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

During the Golden Week, I have kept getting information from various guests about the place. So I could understand the latest condition by the the photos in their smartphones.

And I went to see the flowers just after the Golden Week.

to “Kawachi Fuji (Wisteria) Garden” which is the most popular sightseeing spot in this city.

I did knew that the most beautiful timing was over with our guests’ information, however the condition of wisteria flowers was quite better than my expectation.

In addition to good flower condition, there were two more lucky things.
One is admission. It was discounted to 1,000JPY. Because there were some areas where flowers have gone, the price seemed to be changed from 1,500JPY, the highest one for full blooming. But areas where flowers stayed was pretty nice and I have a feeling I got a deal.

Another one is that free shuttle bus from JR station was out of service. So there was quite a few people in the garden and I could enjoyed both beautiful purple flowers and wonderful sweet smell as much as I wanted.

I know that it is difficult to get such a lucky situation but I will try next year again. Of course, I will advice this local useful information to our guests.

As the result, I could take bunch of good photos for promotion of next year. So it became a wonderful first day after holidays.

残りものには福がある！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ゴールデンウィーク期間中には色々なゲストからスマホ画像を見せてもらうなど、最新の情報を把握し、十二分に状況を把握していました。

そしてゴールデンウィークが終わると同時に、満を持して行ってきました。

「河内藤園」、、、今や郷土いちばんの観光資源です。

ゲストからの情報で、すでに見頃は過ぎていることは分かっていましたが、実際の藤の花は意外や予想していた以上に良い状態を保っていました。ツイています。

さらに想定していなかった、ラッキーことが二つ。
ひとつは入場料が1,000円だったこと。枯れ始めたエリアがあることで満開時の入場料1,500円から値引きされていましたが、まだ咲いている部分は充分に美しく、得した気分になりました。

もうひとつは無料シャトルバスのサービスが前日で終了していたこと。無料シャトルバスの運行は整理券の必要な時期と同期しているそうで、そのどちらもがゴールデンウィークと共に終了していました。その結果、観光客が非常に少なく、花の美しい紫と、甘い香りに思う存分浸ることができました。

なかなかこうした状況と巡り合うことは難しいのでしょうが、来年もまた狙いたいと思います。もちろんゲストにもローカル情報としてアドバイスするつもりです。

未だ見ぬ、来シーズンのゲストにお見せする画像もたくさん撮れて、とても良い連休明け第一日目となりました。
