About this city, there is a word that always appears around the coming-of-age ceremony.
It is “the land of demons”.
We are sure Japanese people know that this is the city of the “Last YAKUZA (sounds like in a Hollywood movie)”!
Thanks to the efforts of the police and local government, the power of organized crime groups has weakened, and incidents such as shootings have stopped as they did in the past, and it looks like the city will finally be able to shed its stigma.
Instead of shooting incidents, what is happening frequently in this city is…
As you know… Fire!
At the end of the year, there seemed to be another series of fires in downtown areas.

Regarding this fire, when we exchanged thank-you notes with guests after their returning to Japan to confirm their safety, they told us that they had to change their dining location, because the restaurant they had booked after check-out was canceled due to the fire.
Following reports that some of the fires at the end of the year were caused by electrical leakage…
So we had this guesthouse check for electrical leakage.
He said there seems to be no problem with the results.
Inspection is important to avoid fire!

発砲事件に代わって、この街で多発しているもの
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
この町では成人式前後になると必ず出てくるワードがあります。
それは「修羅の国」。
日本人ならご存知とは思いますが、ここは「ラスト・ヤクザ（ハリウッド映画みたい）」の街！
警察・行政の努力の甲斐あって、暴力団の力も弱体し、以前のように発砲等の事件もなくなって、ようやくその汚名を返上できそうな流れになっていますが、、、
発砲事件に代わって、この街で多発しているのが、、、
ご存知、、、火事・火災！
年末にもまた繁華街で立て続けに火事が起こったようです。

この火事については、帰国後のゲストさんとのお礼安否確認のやり取りで、チェックアウト後に予約していたお店がその近隣の火災の影響で営業できず、彼らも食事場所を急遽変えなくてはならなくなったハプニングがあったことを教えてくれました。
年末の火災の中には、漏電原因のものもあったような報道をうけて、、、
当宿でも漏電チェックしてもらいました。
結果は問題なさそうとのこと。
