A report about the other side of the strait that we’ve been focusing on this year, or more accurately, the first half of this year.

Very beautiful right now

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Speaking of beautiful autumn leaves spot in Kanmon area,

we recommend our guests this town at first,

Chofu, a castle town on the other side of the state.

It is most beautiful right now and this weekend may be the last chance to see them beautiful.

The day I visited there was cloudy, and I thought that they can be much more beautiful and vivid, if they have sunshine under the blue sky.

自分が行った時は曇り空でしたが、青空であれば陽の光に紅葉が映えて、もっとキレイだろうと感じました。

From the other side

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Recently we have guests from the other side.

Guest who is living there, Guest who is stopped on the way back there and so on.
It seems that COVID-19 make opportunity for them to stay here.

It is bad infection but it doesn’t affect not only bad things.

We talked with the guests and we found that both of us have common senses in same hometown and Kanmon is one same living area in spite of two different prefectures.

Guests from neighbor town are better than relatives living far?

We do want to have more guests from Shimonoseki.

対岸の、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ここのところ対岸のゲストさんによく利用いただいています。

住まわれている方、帰省された方などなど、何かしら新型コロナウイルスが関係してのご利用みたいです。

厄介な感染症ですが、悪い影響ばかりではないようです。

話をしてみると、どのゲストさんとも同郷的な共通の感覚があって、県こそ異なっても関門って同じ生活圏なんだとあらためて気付かされました。

遠くの親戚よりも、対岸からのゲスト！（あれ？）

もっと下関からのゲストさんにご利用いただきたいですね。
