This guesthouse is located in a little bit remote place, but…
We’ve had many unique guests…
This weekend, we have two young ceramic artists from a country a little further south, where the host loves.
They came here to set up a stall at a market event currently being held in our port town.
They were very cheerful and bright guests, and as soon as they arrived, they each gave us each one of their artworks as a gift.
I was curious about the plate and the mug…
Just for fun, I tried putting some plastic sushi on them, and it actually looks really delicious!
I happened to visit my mother’s house and my mother shared some spring delicacies she had cooked. So I put them on the dish.
It felt like the colors of spring suddenly became much more vibrant.
Today is the last day to see the guest artists who create such wonderful works.

美味しくなる魔法
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
ちょっと辺鄙な場所にある当宿ですが、、、
利用されるゲストさんにもユニークな方が多くて、、、
この週末に滞在されているゲストさんは、宿主が大好きなちょっと南の国からいらっしゃった若き陶芸家のお二人。
わが港町で開催中のマーケットイベントに出店するためのご利用です。
とても明るくて陽気なゲストさんで、到着するやお二人の作品を１つづつプレゼントにといただきました。
なんかちょっと気になるお皿とマグカップで、、、
試しに、プラスチック製のお寿司を盛り付けてみたところ、とっても美味しそうに見えるじゃないですか！
ちょうど実家に立ち寄った際に、お袋の作った春の味覚をお裾分けしてもらっていたので、それを乗せてみると、
一気に春の彩りが増したように感じました。
そんな素敵な作品を作り出すゲストさんが出店されるのも今日まで。
盛り付ける食材を美味しく見せる不思議なお皿やかわいいデザインのマグ、興味のある方は是非港町で開催中のイベントへ！
