Crying for the moon

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Kanmon has sunshine for the first time in a while. Temperature went up more than 30 degree C.

So, it gets very hot and humid!

When that happens, we miss the rainy day which is not so hot and humid. Is it selfish?

Or is it because we can enjoy this strait town even on the rainy day?

P.S. I was thinking like above but it seems that a typhoon is coming through north-west sea of Kyushu. Is this fortunate or unfortunate?

久しぶりに日差しが戻ると、、、またまた３０度超え。

で、蒸し暑いっ！

そうなると、たとえ雨でも暑くない日が恋しくなるのはわがままでしょうか。

P.S. なんてことを考えていたら、九州の北西側の海上を台風がひとつ通過していくそうで、、、喜んでいいやら、心配する方がいいのやら？

A port town after the rain

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Spread of delta variant and long and heavy rain made us sick. So I drove around our town in the moment the rain stopped.

恋人はないけれど濡れる街角

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

デルタ株の感染拡大に、激しく降る長雨、なんとなく気分が沈むので、雨の止んだタイミングで町を走ってみました。

お盆休み明け、雨上がりの港町は、ずいぶんと落ち着いていて、なんかいい感じでした。

TOUKA supports our guests’ springtime of life

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We had a guest who is in the middle of the springtime of his life.

The springtime, but his age is over 70.

What we learned through hosting various guests is that the energy level of the guest doesn’t relate to his/her age.

The guest was struggling and making effort to realize his dreamful event for young generations and the music, which is his life and passion. So he is moving all over Japan using JR’s “Springtime of life 18 ticket”.

There seems to be no age limit to use this ticket.

During the season of “Springtime of life 18 ticket” (three period of a year, spring, summer and winter, school’s vacation time), we have not a few guests who use the ticket to come here, Kanmon. It is our pleasure to support the guests in springtime of life.
