As well as Tokyo, Fukuoka (city) also announced full blooming of Sakura in their town.

However, Sakura in this town, Komorie, is about 30% of blooming yet.

As I like to watch flowers are increasing day by day, I am checking Sakura of small park in this neighborhood.

I enjoy not only Sakura but also something else at same time. So I can enjoy more.

Fortunately. not like famous Sakura spot, the small park in this town doesn’t have many people.

I cannot understand why people go out to the place where many people get together. Now is the time, many people are worrying the rebound of infection. I thought that everyone should enjoy Sakura in their town. Every Sakura in Japan is beautiful in this time of year.

We should recognize that total number of death by COVID-19 will be more than 9,000 in a few days.
(It is way more than the death by Hanshin Awaji Great Earthquake.)

真因

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

東京と同じく福岡（市）も過去最速の桜の満開宣言が出されていますが、、、

わが町、小森江の桜はひいき目に云っても三分咲きぐらいです。

自分は少しづつ花の数が増えていくのを見るのが好きなので、日々ワクワクしながら近所の公園をチェックしています。

また桜だけではなく何かとのコラボ、Featを楽しめば、ワクワク倍増です。

幸いなことに、このちいさい町の公園は、有名な桜の名所と違って、見物客もまばらです。

どうして人の集まるところに出掛けていくのか理解できませんが、感染のリバウンドが心配されている今、それぞれが町の公園で静かに花を愛でるべきではないのかと考えてしまいました。日本国中、どの桜も同じようにきれいです。

国内の死者数も明日か明後日には9,000人の大台に乗りそうです。
（阪神淡路大震災の死者数よりもずっと多い数です。あまり騒がれませんが、、、）

それでは、大切な誰かが亡くなるその真因にならない素敵な一日を！

Chatting with face mask on rainy day!

It was rainy in the weekend. But it was not cold rain like a few weeks ago.

In the dinning room of this guesthouse, we found out that our guest had stayed in the U.S. in the same period when I stayed there. And we are excited together talking about several common topics we experienced in the U.S. It was a kind of wonderful weekend even in rainy weather.

Although government requests us to keep staying home, we recognized that communication is essential for human beings.

雨の日のおしゃべり with マスク！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

週末の関門は雨。以前ほどは冷たくはない雨がシトシトと降りました。

会話の中で1990年代の同時期に米国で生活してたことが分かったゲストさんと、クリントン時代の古き（？）良きアメリカの話題で盛り上がり、天気は残念でしたが、素敵なインドア・ウィークエンドを過ごすことが出来ました。

引き続きステイホームの継続が求められていますが、コミュニケーション、やっぱり人類に必要だよなぁと再認識しました。

それでは、会話することで脳を活性化させる素敵な一日を！

若者のきもち / Feeling of young generation

Feeling of young generation

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In Japan, number of newly infected people has stopped lowering recently and government is struggling whether they should lift the state of emergency for capital area or not.

In such situation, some people blame behavior of young people going out. But I can understand their opinion and feel sympathy after talking each other for a while.

Most of the students living alone in Japan are staying in tiny one-room apartment, less than 10 square meters big. And many of them has not fancy view from their window. All of the lectures are operated on-line and they lost a chance to go to their campus. Their self-quarantine has been almost a year. So I can understand how they have been feeling trapped.

I pitied our student guest who took a deep breath at the window with open strait view, forgetting that the guest has hay fever.

On the contrary, government’s infection control is to make people refrain from going out, but to allow restaurant to open till 8pm. Some media report about loss of their sales opportunity, but broadcast governments complaint about not reducing number of people going out to major towns. People in Japan are confusing how they should do for our country.

What we need now is not such fuzzy infection control, but a clear and sharp policy which is understandable and appeal to all peoples heart, specially considering behavioral psychology of young generation.

若者のきもち

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本では新規感染者の数が下げ止まり状態で、首都圏の緊急事態宣言を解除したものか政府が苦慮しています。

下げ止まりについては若い世代の行動パターンが避難されることが多いのですが、実際に彼らの声を聞いてみると、納得と同時に同情したくなります。

普通の学生が一人暮らししている環境は６帖程度のワンルームがほとんど。窓からは隣の建物しか見えない環境という人が少なくありません。オンライン授業でキャンパスに行く機会も失われ、外出自粛もかれこれ一年、閉塞感に押し潰されそうになるという気持ちも理解できます。

当宿の窓からの景色を前に、花粉症であることも忘れ、深呼吸するゲストの姿に、すこし可愛そうになってきました。

対して行政はといえば、不要不急の外出を慎むようにいいながら、飲食店は８時まで営業可能にしていて、そうした飲食店の経営・集客を応援しなきゃというような報道もされながら、外出する人数が減らないと不満をこぼします。国民からすれば何が正解なのか混乱しています。

今必要なのはそんな曖昧な政策ではなくて、若者の行動心理を捉えた、心に訴えることで国民が納得できる、それていてメリハリのある政策ではないかと感じるのは自分だけではないハズです。
