Diversity of traveling!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
After enjoying traditional Japanese event “DONDO-YAKI” and fine sweet “ZENZAI”, we went to the station to send off our guest.
We waved our hand to the guests who were boarding on the train and we found a different atmosphere than usual, when I changed my gaze a little.
There were people dressed up little and a train in calm, dark colors.
I don’t know much about trains, so I searched on the internet and found this result:

There were people in the site, whose travel styles were completely different from those at our guesthouse.
Our old port town, Mojiko, welcomes various kind of tourists such as backpackers, young travelers like our guests, and petit bourgeois.
We really feel that this is a spot where a diverse range of travelers can enjoy a little bit of traveling.

旅のダイバーシティ！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
ローカルな神社でどんど焼きとおいしいぜんざいとを堪能した後、駅までゲストさんを見送りに行きました。
電車に乗り込むゲストさんに手を振り、少しだけ視線を変えるといつもとは違う雰囲気です。
そこにはなんとなくおめかしをした人たちと、落ち着いたダークな色調の列車の姿。
鉄道にはあまり詳しくないので、インターネットで検索するとこんな結果が、、、

当宿とは旅のスタイルの全く異なる人たちの姿がその中にありました。
バックパッカーや、海外からの若い旅行者が主体の当宿のゲストさんたちから、プチブルジョワまで幅広い旅行客の層を取り込む我が古い港町、門司港。
本当に多様な旅人たちがちょっとした旅情を満喫できるスポットだなぁと実感します。
