Between city and country
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
We had strong east wind on Sunday and we found rolled cloud like morning glory. As it seemed that south-west wind was blowing upper sky, that can be real rolled cloud.
If two things have different direction, something strange can happen in between. In case of wind direction, that creates morning glory.
In case of delicatessen menu between urban stores and rural stores, difference of unsold can be happened.
Popular healthy deli menu in Tokyo often unsold around here country side and they will be on sale with half price in the evening. Stores are making effort to develop new menu by following Tokyo style, but local people in this town may not like them at all. Not only healthy menu but also ethnic menu, such as Gaprao, are not popular here. (They are both good and I like them very much.)
I have seen this kind of differences and they are helpful for the people came back from Tokyo at the point of both opportunity and saving money.
(By the way, most of local people prefer deep fried foods, such as chicken Karaage.)

都会と田舎の狭間で
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
日曜日の関門エリアは東風がとても強くて、モーニング・グローリーのような巻き雲が見られました。
上空は南西風のようなので本当に巻き雲だったのかもしれません。
向かう方向が違えば、その狭間では不思議な現象が起こるようで、それが風向きの場合にはモーニング・グローリーが起きるし、都会と田舎とのお惣菜の売れ筋の狭間では、売れ残りに違いが生じるようです。
東京などではすぐになくなるヘルシー系のお惣菜は比較的いつも売れ残り、夕方には半額で売られるケースがここでは少なくありません。スーパー側は頑張って新しいメニューを取り入れるのですが、町の人にはなかなか受け入れられないようです。ヘルシー系の他にはエスニック系、たとえばガパオライスなどは人気がありません。（どちらも美味しいのに、、、）
こんなちょっとしたことですが東京からのＵターン組にはうれしくて、結果的に財布にも優しい関門ライフだったりします。
（ちなみに、ご当地で人気なのは唐揚げなど揚げ物のようです。）
