Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

After 10 days have passed, people do not talk so much about it.

Yes, it is about “Natural Disaster”.

I have watched various area damaged after natural disasters and I learned

“Nobody know when/where will it happen. That is natural disaster.” Specially Earth Quake.

But it is also right that I learned a lot during this 10 days.

The most impacted information for me was this data. They said these are the record of earth quakes happened in this 10 year period.

In addition, the comment of a specialist was very interesting.

The reason why this data caught my eyes is because I saw similar data and big earth quake happened at Kumamoto several days after the data was shown in the program.

Then, where will the next one happen? and when?

A disaster strikes when people do not expect it. We do hope that everyone will be safe and survive.

おはようございます。

１０日が経つと、あまり話題にならなくなってきましたね。

そう「自然災害」についてです。

色んな自然災害の被災地を見てきて、分かったことは、、、

「いつどこで起こるかわからない、それが自然災害」ということ。特に地震はその傾向が強いです。

とはいえ、この２０日間学んだことも多かったです。

その中でも一番インパクトがあったのがこのデータ。震災から１０年間で発生した地震の記録だそうです。

なぜ、自分がこのデータに目が留まったかというと、５年前に似たような絵を見た数日後に実際に大地震が起こったからです。

Cheapest in Japan!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It is getting warmer and warmer day by day. I notice one thing, when I spaced out watching my smartphone.

According to the gas station searching site, which I have often used during my trip around Japan, from here, Kanmon, as the starting point,

my favorite station in this town is the cheapest in Japan.

I found it when I changed searching area to all over the country.

I have often use the gas station, because I have felt very cheap whenever I went there. But it is unbelievable that that station is the cheapest.

日本一 安いっ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日々暖かくなってきて、ボーっとスマホを眺めていて気が付きました。

ここ関門を起点に、東京をはじめ全国津々浦々旅している時に、よくお世話になっているガソリンスタンド探索アプリ。

対象エリアを「全国」にして検索したら、、、

若者のきもち / Feeling of young generation

Feeling of young generation

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In Japan, number of newly infected people has stopped lowering recently and government is struggling whether they should lift the state of emergency for capital area or not.

In such situation, some people blame behavior of young people going out. But I can understand their opinion and feel sympathy after talking each other for a while.

Most of the students living alone in Japan are staying in tiny one-room apartment, less than 10 square meters big. And many of them has not fancy view from their window. All of the lectures are operated on-line and they lost a chance to go to their campus. Their self-quarantine has been almost a year. So I can understand how they have been feeling trapped.

I pitied our student guest who took a deep breath at the window with open strait view, forgetting that the guest has hay fever.

On the contrary, government’s infection control is to make people refrain from going out, but to allow restaurant to open till 8pm. Some media report about loss of their sales opportunity, but broadcast governments complaint about not reducing number of people going out to major towns. People in Japan are confusing how they should do for our country.

What we need now is not such fuzzy infection control, but a clear and sharp policy which is understandable and appeal to all peoples heart, specially considering behavioral psychology of young generation.

若者のきもち

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本では新規感染者の数が下げ止まり状態で、首都圏の緊急事態宣言を解除したものか政府が苦慮しています。

下げ止まりについては若い世代の行動パターンが避難されることが多いのですが、実際に彼らの声を聞いてみると、納得と同時に同情したくなります。

普通の学生が一人暮らししている環境は６帖程度のワンルームがほとんど。窓からは隣の建物しか見えない環境という人が少なくありません。オンライン授業でキャンパスに行く機会も失われ、外出自粛もかれこれ一年、閉塞感に押し潰されそうになるという気持ちも理解できます。

当宿の窓からの景色を前に、花粉症であることも忘れ、深呼吸するゲストの姿に、すこし可愛そうになってきました。

対して行政はといえば、不要不急の外出を慎むようにいいながら、飲食店は８時まで営業可能にしていて、そうした飲食店の経営・集客を応援しなきゃというような報道もされながら、外出する人数が減らないと不満をこぼします。国民からすれば何が正解なのか混乱しています。

今必要なのはそんな曖昧な政策ではなくて、若者の行動心理を捉えた、心に訴えることで国民が納得できる、それていてメリハリのある政策ではないかと感じるのは自分だけではないハズです。
