Japanese Title (邦題)： 「梅雨だから、、、」末尾に
Because it is TSUYU (rainy season) now
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Finally, weather forecast is telling wet weather like TSUYU this week.
Rainy season in Japan is called as TSUYU which is written by two Chinese character, Plum and Rain.
So I made a typical Japanese drink with my mother, which is usually made in this time of a year.
We rinsed green plums with water,
wiped water very carefully,
put them in a glass jar,
and add crystal sugar and white liquor in it.
This is not completed yet.
About 3-month aging period is necessary to make good plum wine.
When autumn will come and good plum wine will be completed, we may make our guests to try it, if they like.

梅雨だから、、、
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
ようやく今週になって、梅雨らしい空模様が予報されるようになりました。
日本の雨季は梅雨と呼び、漢字で梅の雨と書きます。
その梅雨らしい飲み物を、実家の母と作ってみました。
青い梅を水で洗い、
水分をよく拭き取って、
ガラス瓶に移し、
そこに、氷砂糖とホワイトリカーを加える。
これで完成というわけではありませんよ。
このまま３ヶ月以上の熟成期間が必要です。
秋になって、美味しい梅酒が出来たら、ゲストさんにも振る舞うかな？
