A half month to go!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As of Friday, the highest temperature in various places of Japan exceeded 35 degrees, midsummer day.

Even though it’s only June…

We should be in the middle of the rainy season right now…

It seems that the actual seasons are ahead of the calendar.

But in about half a month, our favorite summer spot will open!

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

金曜日時点、日本各地で最高気温が３５度を超えて、真夏日を記録しています。

まだ６月だというのに、、、

本来なら今は梅雨の真っ只中のはずなのに、、、

どうも実際の季節がカレンダーを先行しているようです。

でも、あと半月もしたら、大好きな夏のスポットがオープンします！

Beautiful collaboration in the neighborhood

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This year, 2024, it looks like the rainy season will start soon, but it doesn’t happen yet.

We have been making preparations for several years in advance to make this guesthouse for the hosts’ favorite  hydrangeas, rainy season flowers.

Thankfully, even though we didn’t agree, the hydrangeas in this neighborhood were blooming beautifully, and we feel like we are surrounded by hydrangeas specially around this entrance.

Thanks to this situation, we are glad that our guests are also happy with this.

華麗なるご近所コラボ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

梅雨入りしそうで、なかなかしない今年2024年ですが、、、

この時期は宿主の大好きな梅雨の花「あじさい」の宿にしたいと数年前から準備をしています。

ありがたいことに申し合わせたわけでもないのに、ご近所さんでもあじさいがきれいに咲いていて、玄関周りはあじさいに囲まれている感覚になります。

Better than with a convenience store

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Among GAIJIN tourists, it seems that images of Mt. Fuji in collaboration with convenience stores have become popular.

But I honestly think this collaboration is much better.

After all the cherry blossoms in Tokyo had fallen, I went to the highlands in search of even more beautiful cherry blossoms and found this spot.

However, I realized that it was 100 times more beautiful and 1000 times more moving to see this with my own eyes than to see it in a photograph, So I felt a pity, during I took pictures.

Now, the second half of Golden Week begins today.

During their trip to Japan, I hope they don’t try to imitate someone else’s values and go to such particular spots, but find their own spots that moves them on their own.

コンビニよりも

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

ガイジン観光客の間では、コンビニとのコラボ画像が人気になっている富士山ですが、、、

コラボするなら素直にこっちの方がいいんじゃないかと思います。

東京の桜が全て散ったあと、さらにきれいな桜を求めて高地に足を伸ばしてこのスポットを見つけました。

ただ、写真に撮ったものより、実際にこの目で見る方が100倍綺麗で1000倍感動するのを実際に体感し、撮影していて残念に思いました。

さぁ、本日からゴールデンウィークの後半がスタートします。

せっかくの日本旅行、他人の価値観を真似しにそのスポットに行くのではなく、自分自身で感動できるスポットを探し出してほしいですね。
