So, this year I noticed for the first time that there were people gathered in front of the entrance to this guesthouse, and it seemed to have become a viewing spot.

(*Maybe next year we’ll sell ice cream too? lol)

While the guests were out at the Mojiko festival venue, the hosts were able to relax and enjoy the view from the windows of this guesthouse.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

今年も夏がやってきました！

前日の線状降水帯・ゲリラ豪雨にも負けず、開催されました、、、

で、今年初めて気がついたのですが、当宿の玄関前に人が集まっていて、ちょっとした観覧スポットになっているようです。

（来年はアイスでも販売しようかな？笑）

ゲストさんが門司港会場まで出かけて行っている間、宿主はのんびりと宿の窓から観覧満喫できました。

is not about the area affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, nor is it from the Noto earthquake.

It is not the damage caused by the recent heavy rains in northern Kyushu.

Yes, it is a part of our Home Town, now.

This is the former site of the hardware section of this town’s best supermarket.

The main supermarket has already been replaced by a drugstore chain from Tokyo and is in business.

In this way, this town we once knew has been rapidly changing.

But…our most recommended spot at the moment is this “My Town”!

In fact, our guests from overseas countries are also pleased with visit there.

Last week, it was also broadcasted on a local television program featuring a popular national comedy duo.

あの町は、、、いま

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

東日本大震災後の被災地てもなければ、能登地震の被災地でもないし、、、

今回の北部九州豪雨の被害画像でもありません。

そう、おいらの町 NOWです。

どこかといえば、町一番のスーパーマーケットのハードウェア売り場のビル跡。

本体のスーバーの方はすでに東京のドラックストアのチェーン店に建て替わって営業をしています。

こんな感じで、かつて親しんだ町はどんどん変わっています。

でも、、、今イチバンの当宿のオシ・スポットはこの「おいらの町」！

実は海外のゲストさんにも好評です。

先週は全国区の売れっ子漫才コンビが盛り上げるローカル・テレビ番組にも取り上げられていました。

Bright future of this town

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This guesthouse is located on a hill and overlooks the town of Komorie, where two national highways run parallel to one another.

Although it cannot be introduced publicly, on weekend nights a certain amount of festivities take place there.

Both of these national highways lead to the port town of Mojiko!

It seems like they are running towards that goal. Although the number is quite small…

Because this is “Land of Asura”.

This is what I saw in this city!

He is a KitaQ Boy running through the town blowing bulb horn with his hands.

It seems that the history and traditions of our town are being steadily passed down.

I don’t know why, but it somehow made me smile and relieved me. (Maybe he should study Japanese and calligraphy a bit more.)

In fact, I’ve seen him many times.

If you’re a member of the Showa era’s biker gangs and want to support him or dress him in a Kamikaze uniform, you’ll probably be able to encounter him if you go around the outlet mall in town.

この街の未来

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

高台にあるこの宿から見下ろす小森江の町には国道が２本並行して走っています。

表向きには紹介できませんが、週末の夜になると、そこでちょっとしたお決まりのお祭り騒ぎが繰り広げられています。

このどちらの国道も行き着く先は、港町「門司港」！

どうもそこを目標に気合い入れて走り抜けているみたいです。数はショボいですが、、、

だって、ここは修羅の国。

そんなこの街で見かけたのがコレっ！

北九ボーイ。手でパフパフラッパを鳴らしながら走り抜けて行きました。

歴史と伝統は着実に引き継がれているようです。

理由はありませんが、なんとなくほほえましく、ホッとしました。（ちょっと国語・習字は勉強したほうがいいかも）

実は彼、何度も見かけているんです。

彼を応援したい、特攻服を着せてあげたい、昭和の元ヤン世代は、アウトレット近辺に行けば遭遇できると思います。

*彼が免許を取る頃まで、Hawk2や、GSや、XJなどがあるといいですね。（爺さん世代の乗り物ですが、、、）
