Now, October has gone and we are going into November.

Last night, I was reluctant to leave October and thought back upon various sceneries I met in the last month.

October was the month for us to rediscover the beauty of this country, Japanesque, with hoping guests from foreign countries back to this guesthouse.

I wonder now if I will explore the south of Japan, Kyushu, this month.

昨日の夜は10月に名残を惜しみ、色々と回想してしまいました。

The first experience of usual taste

It is the most famous Japanese sweet I have gotten as a souvenir since my childhood.

It was special experience for me to eat it with watching Isuzu river.

By the way, what is the most famous and traditional sweet here in Kanmon?

幼い頃から、時折お土産でいただく日本を代表するスイーツ。

五十鈴川の川面を眺めながらいただくひと口は格別な味がしました。

そういえば、ここ関門の定番で伝統的なスイーツってなんだろう？

Recently, when I go to travel,

I try to get food at local supermarket, not at restaurants, specially for dinner which tend to be expensive.

At the very local supermarket, we may be able to get very local materials to make very local menu.

In most case, such material is very cheap and not available at supermarkets in the other area.

As the result, we can enjoy an extraordinary experience there.

I could get various good and special foods this time.

We do want our guests to enjoy such fun experience and Kanmon delicacy during stay in TOUKA.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。

最近、旅に出ると、、、

特にコストが高くなる夕食については、外食するよりも現地のスーパーマーケットで調達するようにしています。

ご当地スーパーでは（外食だと高くつく）ご当地グルメのご当地食材が非常に安価で手に入ったりします。

そうした食材は得てして他の地域では手に入らない珍しいものだったりするので、旅の醍醐味である非日常感を満喫することができます。

今回も旨くて珍しい食べ物を色々とゲットすることが出来ました。

当宿を利用されるゲストさんにもこんな楽しい体験・関門ならではの食材を推していきたいですね。
