The reason why I traveled by train?
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
My trip to southern Fukuoka this time.
There were two main reasons why I decided to travel by train, specifically a local train.
The first reason is that an old friend sent me a JR Kyushu shareholder ticket.
The second reason is that I have always wanted to experience traveling from my guests’ perspective.
When I first started working, I was assigned to Yamanashi, where I met a friend of my generation who has been in contact with me for over 30 years. Thanks to the friend, I was able to look around Fukuoka just like the young guests were traveling, which was a very good experience.
Another great benefit of this trip was not only being able to visit some of the recently focused restaurants, but also being able to ride the Nishitetsu train, a train I had only ever ridden before, except for the street trams.
I was also happy to discover a ramen shop, that I’ll definitely stop by at the end of the trip, when I will go south of Hakata (I’ll probably take a car next time) next time.
I do want to visit there again while a bowl of ramen is still only 290 yen.

わざわざ電車で旅した訳
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
今回の福岡南部日帰りトリップ。
わざわざ電車で、それも在来線で旅したのには訳が大きく二つあります。
ひとつ目の理由は、古くからの友人がJR九州の株主切符を送ってきてくれたから。
ふたつ目の理由は、かねてよりゲストさんの目線で旅してみたかったから。
新人社会人になった頃、赴任先の山梨で知り合い、その後三十年以上もやりとりをしてきた同世代の友人の計らいで、若いゲストさん達が旅するようにこの福岡を見て回れたのはとても良い経験となりました。
今回、注目の料理店だけでなく、かつて路面電車以外には乗ったことのなかった西鉄電車にも乗れたのも大きな収穫でした。
また博多以南に行く時には（次は車でだと思いますが）、その〆に絶対に立ち寄りたいラーメン屋ができたこともうれしい発見でした。
是非とも、一杯が290円のうちにまた訪ねたいですね。
