This week, TSUYU (rainy season) is having a break all over Japan. However the weather will go downhill tomorrow evening. We are all looking forward to the real summer after this rainy season.

And the place we would like to go the most is:

Yes, go to the SEA!

Not only the sea with harbor style pier, but also various type of sea are accessible from this guesthouse TOUKA on a day trip.

We should go to the sea after both TSUYU and COVID-19 are over.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

全国的に今週は梅雨の雨もひと休みのようです。ただ明日の夕方には天気は下り坂とのことで、本格的な梅雨明けが待ち遠しい６月中盤です。

梅雨が明けて行きたいのは、、、やっぱり海！

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In this spring, there are so many calm and fine days and we are enjoying very comfortable outdoor.
(Weather forecast said that it have been sunny for 10 consecutive days.)

I personally think cherry blossoms are most beautiful since I came back to this town.

We have many repeater guests who have expected to come here again in this cherry season but couldn’t come this year.

来ることの出来なかった あなたへ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

今年の関門の春は穏やかに晴れた日が多くて、外にいるのが気持ち良い春でした。
（今日時点で連続10日目の春だそうです。）

そのおかげか桜の花もながく楽しむことが出来て、自分がこの町に戻ってきてから一番きれいだったように思います。

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I have visited Tokyo about every 3 months. And I see something is changing every time.

The center of current change is: Yes, Olympic!

The main stadium was completed. And Olympic Museum was opened next to the stadium. It is already popular sightseeing spot and many group tourists are visiting there by tour buses.

The preparation is on going, but I felt something missing. And I found out what is missing.

Yes, it is ticket. Many people cannot get any tickets for the games.
For the people, who want to participate but cannot participate, holding Olympic games in Japan does not have any importance.

嗚呼、大東京！〜 意義のない街

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

おおよそ３ヶ月毎に訪れる東京。行くたびになにか変わっている。

今、変化の渦の中心は、、、そう、オリンピック！

メインスタジアムは完成し、その隣にはオリンピック・ミュージアムがオープンしていました。すでに観光名所となっていて、バスで団体客がドンドンやってきています。

こうして準備は着々と進んでいるのに、なにか盛り上がりに欠ける気がします。それがなにか気が付きました。

チケットが手に入りません！

参加したいのに参加できない人にとって、オリンピックが日本で開催される意義はないように思えます。
