Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In Japan, since COVID-19 pandemic, it has been popular in mass media to talk trend of people flow by using “Data estimated in a form that does not identify an individual based on mobile phone information”.

However I prefer to “FEEL” at the real location with watching people without using BIG DATA.

For example, our town had

quite few people even on Sunday in consecutive holidays with some events and street stalls.

I found out the reason when I came back to our guesthouse and looking out of the window.

It was unusual heat!

Our town has no big shopping mall building nor underground shopping mall.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

最近流行りの「携帯電話の情報を元に個人を特定しない形で推計したデータ」。

別にビックデータなんか見なくても「感じる」ことを重視したいですね。

で、わが町はというと、、、

連休の日曜日、イベントらしきものもやっていて、露店なども出ているのに、なぜか人が少ない印象でした。

それもそのはず、宿に戻って窓の外をチェックすると！

尋常でない気温でした。

商業ビルや地下街とかもありませんからね。

It got more like that

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Tuesday, the sky above Kanmon strait was not like the sky after TSUYU (the rainy season) yet.

But the sky of yesterday, the second day after TSUYU, was exactly like that.

The second picture is like the LP record jacket of Japanese Pops during 1980s, isn’t it? (Now such music is getting popular again in neighbor Asian countries, called as “City Pop”.) I feel like I can see the sea breeze from the strait in the photo.

Wind in photo may be just my imagination, but I could see Guerrilla Rainstorm (sudden torrential rain), symbol of recent Japanese mid-summer, under the white towering thundercloud.

Next week, all students in this local area are getting into Summer Vacation. It will be the full-blown summer.

さらに らしくなって

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

梅雨明け初日の関門エリア、空模様はなんとなくピンとこなかったのですが、、、

二日目の水曜日になって、これこそ梅雨明けという感じになってきました。

二枚目の画像なんて、まるで近年海外のアジア地域でシティポップと呼ばれてリバイバルしている（その国では初めて？）日本の80年代ポップスのジャケットみたいです。こころなしか海峡を吹く風も写り込んでいる気がします。

風はともかく、遠くモクモクと立ち上がった雲の下には、最近のにっぽんの夏の代名詞、ゲリラ豪雨をハッキリと見ることができました。

来週には地元の小中学校も夏休みです。本格的な夏の到来です。

One step ahead of summer, away from 3Cs!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We did think that TSUYU would be over, but it seems that we will have unstable weather even after seasonal rain front will be gone. So it was still cloudy on Monday morning.

Temperature around noon was already so hot that I cannot wait for going into the seawater swimming pool.

As I expected, people there are very few and I could keep my own swimming course. So I enjoyed swimming leisurely and floating on the saltwater vaguely.

Yes, it was fun afternoon, because I was waited for some gaps between the clouds.

But the water was already warmer than the air.

We heard that there is no vaccination for small kids, but some kindergarten students are getting infected COVID-19 lately.

So we recommend family with small kids to visit this facility which has less people, considering the risk of infection.

ひと足お先に、、、密を避けて！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

そろそろ梅雨も明けるかと思いきや、梅雨前線がかからなくなってもしばらくは大気の不安定な状態が続くそうで、なんともスッキリしない天気です。

昼間の気温は十分高いので、待ちきれなくなって行ってきました。

案の定、利用者は少なくて、コース貸切。のんびり泳いで、ぼんやり浮かんで、夏の日差しを満喫することが出来ました。

そう、日差し。雲が切れ始めるのを待って、午後遅い時間にしたんです。

でも水温はもう気温を上回っていました。

聞くところでは、小さい子供向けのコロナワクチンは未だないそうで、そのわりに幼児感染のニュースも聞くようになりました。
子供の感染予防を考えてこの夏を楽しむなら、こんな環境はどうでしょう？
