Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
I have uploading articles about “Lighthouse Anniversary”.
This place is “A little guesthouse under a little lighthouse”.
So I am writing an article about (our?) lighthouse.
Official name of TOUKA’s Lighthouse is “Rear Light of OOSETO Third Leading Lights”
Along the Kanmon strait, one of the busiest sea routes in Japan, this lighthouse lead ships to correct direction with showing biggest port angle (53°) in this strait. Even local residents may not know this lighthouse but one of the biggest number of people from the sea watching this lighthouse.
I don’t disagree that is because I put this lighthouse on the trademark of TOUKA, that I really love watching this light house keep facing ahead to SW (239°). It is also brave that this lighthouse keep watching the strait 24h a day without blinking.

This lighthouse is not famous as the Hesaki Lighthouse but very hard worker. How about coming here to watch this hard working lighthouse on the 150th anniversary?
(As of Oct.16, we only have vacancy in Female only dorm on Nov.1. But we have vacancy on the previous day Oct.30 and Japanese TATAMI room is available which has both lighthouse view and Kanmon Harbor view.)

大瀬戸第三号導燈
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
来る１５０年目の「灯台記念日」にフォーカスして、記事を掲載していますが、、、
当宿は「灯台下の小さいゲストハウス 灯火」です。
もちろん、ウチ（？）の灯台についての記事もあげておこうと思います。
さて「灯火」の灯台ですが、正式名称は「大瀬戸第三号導燈 後燈」です。
国内でも有数の混雑航路、関門海峡にあって、航路上もっとも変針角の大きい「取り舵５３°」を正しくガイドする灯台です。地元の人でも知る人の少ない灯台ですが、実は昼夜を問わず「（海から）見られている度」は間違いなく国内有数の灯台のひとつだと確信しています。
当宿のトレードマークにも採用している灯台だからということは否定しませんが、この丘の上の灯台の凛々しい立ち姿には每日惚れぼれします。あわせて、導灯だけに二十四時間、瞬きもせず南西２３９°の海峡を照らし続ける姿は健気の一言に尽きます。

同じ区内にある前述の「部崎の灯台」ほどの知名度はありませんが、「休むことなく縁の下で働く灯台」。記念すべき１５０年目の「灯台の日」に一度ご覧になってみてはいかがでしょうか？
（＊１１月１日夜はすでに海外からのお客様の予約があり、女性専用のお部屋しか空きがありません。その前夜(10/31)から「灯台記念日」の１１月１日朝の滞在であれば、横になって窓からこの灯台を見ることのできる畳の和室が空いています。また北東側の窓は関門海峡のハーバービューです。）
