世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

残暑が厳しすぎるせいか、マスメディアでは今年の秋は短くなって、そのまま冬になるかもしれないというコメントがよく聞かれます。

けれども、、、

秋はいろんなところで見つけることができますよ。

It is really abnormal, this year! Daytime temperatures still easily exceed 30 degrees C, and nights also easily exceed 25 degrees C, making us difficult to sleep comfortably.

But when we suddenly turned our eyes to the western sky,

the setting position of the sun moved to far south.

Of course, next week is the Autumn Equinox.

On the winter solstice, the sun sets on the top of Mt. Sarakura, the highest peak in Kitakyushu, as seen from here.

Even though the sun comes almost halfway through the journey, it’s still extremely hot.

At our guesthouse, sunlight comes in through the south-facing windows, which doubles the temperature.

The sunset may be beautiful just by looking at it, but it actually feels like it’s burning red.

残暑はまだ真夏みたいに厳しいけれど、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今年はほんとに異常！昼は軽く30度超え、夜も軽く25度を超える寝苦しい夜が続いています。

でも、西の空にふと目を向けると、、、

太陽の沈む位置がずいぶん南下しています。

それもそのはず来週は「秋分の日」。

冬至にはさらに南下して、ここから見ると北九州の最高峰 皿倉山の頂に日が沈みます。

それにしても、その行程のほぼ半分まで来てるのにこの暑さは異常です。

当宿では南向きの窓からも陽が入るようになっていて体感温度は倍増しています。

見ているだけなら綺麗な夕日も、まさに真っ赤に燃えるようです。

それでは、秋バテには気をつけて素敵な一日を！

９月も三分の一過ぎましたが、まだまだ暑い日が続いています。
