On Monday, the start of the week, I decided to take a walk around my town after going to the bank.

And I realized that this is definitely a weekend tourist spot.

Then, on the way home, I stopped by a supermarket and it dawned on me

that Monday is the best day to have barbecue party in this town!

With highballs from the guests’ countries.

そしてその帰り、スーバーマーケットに立ち寄って悟りました。

I drove up to 1,152m, to escape from the city covered by the heat island effect.

But… it’s not just cool here.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

ヒートアイランド現象に覆われた街から逃れるように登ってきた1,152m。

でも、、、ここは涼しいだけではありません。

これだから夏の避暑はやめられません。

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This summer, the host is escaping the heat island effect and wandering around in search of natural coolness.

However, heat and humidity in Japan is extraordinary this year.

Even if we manage to reach a place where the temperature drops to around 20°C in the morning, but by noon it will have risen to around 30°C.

So we continued to climb higher and higher in search of even cooler weather…and eventually we reached a height of over 1,000m.

At this zone, it will be chilly in the early morning, and we will be able to get a good sleep wrapped up in our sleeping bag or blanket.

If global warming continues at this rate, there may be no places in Japan where you can spend the summer without air conditioning.

We do hope that guests visiting Japan this summer will take great care to avoid heatstroke.

五六百ではダメ、千まで一気に！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

この夏、ヒートアイランドから逃れ、天然の涼を求めて彷徨う宿主です。

でも、今年の日本の蒸し暑さは尋常ではありません。

朝はどうにか20℃程度まで下がるところに辿り着いても、お昼前にはそこも30℃ぐらいになってしまいます。

というわけで、さらに涼を求めて上へ上へ、、、最終的にはとうとう千m越えまで登ることになります。

ここまで来れば早朝は肌寒く、寝袋やブランケットにくるまって気持ちよく眠れるようになります。

このまま地球温暖化が進むと、冷房なしで夏を過ごせる場所は日本からなくなってしまうかもしれませんね。

この夏、日本を観光するゲストさんたちには熱中症にくれぐれも注意してほしいですね。
