I started a lodging business because I had always loved traveling.

I still love to travel very much.

But the style of my traveling is completely different from used to be.

For example, I decided where to go

during I was in Tokyo, watching one TV program about old port town.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

元々根っからの旅好きだったのが昂じて始めた宿泊業。

今でも旅するのが大好きです。

けれどもここ数年の旅の仕方は、以前とはまったく変わりました。

たとえば、今回も、、、

東京行きの車の中で見かけたテレビ番組、それがきっかけで、ある港町に行ってみることにしました。

Enjoying the sound of rain

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It’s been raining here in Kanmon area since the beginning of this week.

Travelers may think that it is unlucky in rainy day,

but we want our guests to enjoy even rainy day.

As we are in natural atmosphere, there are green leaves just outside of guest room window.

So the sound of rain hitting these leaves is like a soothing lullaby.

We don’t think the relaxing effect is small.

While surrounded by such BGM, watching the ship moving through the rain is extremely relaxing.

Thank you and you have a nice day staying positive even on rainy days.

P.S. Because it is the rain after scattering of yellow dust, we must clean up the window glass again. But we will make our best efforts for our guests.

ショパンの調べ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

週明けからここ関門エリアは雨模様。

雨は旅行しているゲストにとってはアンラッキーですが、

当宿ではそれも楽しんでもらいたいと考えています。

緑の多い環境なので、客室の窓のすぐ外まで緑がせまっています。

その葉にあたる雨音は心地よい子守唄。そのリラックス効果は小さくないように思います。

そんなBGMに包まれて、雨の中をすすむ船を眺めているとリラックス効果絶大です。

P.S. 黄砂飛散後の雨なので、また窓拭きが大変かもですが、ゲストさんのために頑張りますっ。

This is a photo of the strait we took from our guest room.

It’s not out of focus.

The focus is on the window glass.

In these days, there has been an unusual amount of dirt on the glass.

According to weather forecast, the cause is yellow sand flying from the continent.

So we have been carefully cleaning the window glasses at this point,

for our guests to enjoy wonderful strait view.

Thank you and you have a nice day based on steady efforts that no one else recognizes.

P.S. We feel sorry with only fuzzy strait view, so attach the view that our guests see just after check-in.

となりの国からのやっかいもの

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

客室から海峡を撮影したこの画像。

ピンぼけではありませんよ。

ピントは窓ガラスに合っています。

この数日、ガラスに付着する汚れが尋常ではありません。

天気予報によると、その原因は大陸から飛来する黄砂。

ここのところガラス吹きを念入りに対応しています。

ゲストさんたちに素晴らしい海峡の景色を楽しんでもらうために、、、

それでは、誰にも認められない地道な努力の上に素敵な一日を！
