Surprised to feel the turn of the seasons with my body!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Late this week. it has been raining all over Japan. But rain is not only factor in weather which changed.

Temperature also went down and we are feeling much more comfortable than last week.

There are not so many people who knows that sea got rough like late Tsuyu (rainy season).

But, water temperature is high and I got stung by a jellyfish as I was careless on the ocean.

In Japan, people say that jellyfish start stabbing people after OBON (lantern festival), but it was not OBON yet.

It hurt so much!

I feel the end of midsummer with my body.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

今週終盤、日本全国で雨になっています。でも、天気で変化したのは雨だけではありません。

気温が下がり、ぐっと過ごしやすくなっています。

気付いている人は多くないと思いますが、ずっと静かだった海も梅雨の終盤みたいに荒れ気味です。

けれども海水温は高くて、、、油断していたら、「痛ぁい」のをもらいました。

昔はお盆を過ぎると出てくると言われてましたけど、お盆前ですよ、クラゲ！

かなり痛かったです。（海の中ではけっこう腫れてたんです。）

身をもって盛夏の終わりを体感しました。

それでは、残り少なくなった夏を追いかけて素敵な一日を！

＊P.S. 夏どころか、梅雨に逆戻り！昨日、近くの一級河川では河川敷駐車場水没し始めてました。みなさんご用心！

New summer tradition since COVID-19 pandemic

After sun set behind Hikoshima island, the other side of the strait, night darkness comes down on this strait town.

In a short while, we hear the distant sound of exploding.

We look out of the window, and find fireworks somewhere far away.

Depends on the day, location is different. But we see fireworks around the strait more often than before pandemic.

Big and famous fireworks festival at this strait, everyone looking forward, will be canceled for the second consecutive year.

However, if you are lucky, you may be able to see such firework here.

I personally may prefer to see small size event of fireworks.

コロナ以降、夏の風物詩

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

海峡の対岸、彦島の向こう側に陽が沈み、海峡に夜の帳が降りてきてしばらくすると、

どこからともなく聞こえてくる弾ける音。

窓の外をみると、遠くで花火が上がっています。

日によって、上がる場所は異なりますが、こうしたことがコロナ前より頻繁に見られるようになりました。

皆が楽しみにしている大掛かりな花火大会は２年連続で中止になりましたが、

ここ関門では運が良ければ、こんあプチ打ち上げ花火を見ることができます。

自分はなんかこうした花火の方が好きかもしれません。

Let’s get psyched!

Weather had been not so good even after typhoon was gone, but finally we got good summer-like weather.

In clear weather after a typhoon has passed, where do you want to go?

I think that must be the beach!

When I talked with young guests who stayed here in these two months, their comments were:

“We go to beach but we never go into the water.”

“We need to psych ourselves up, when we plan to go to the beach.”

As I heard from several people, today’s young people don’t go to the beach to swim.

I can understand that I have to psych ourselves up a little bit before I am going to get out into such rough sea.

Anyway, we could confirm unexpectedly that the beaches are safe and secure, because most risky young generations in infection don’t go there.

Thank you and you have a nice day by taking the opposite behavior pattern against that of young people.

気合いだ！気合いだ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

台風通過後もイマイチな天気が続いていましたが、ようやく台風一過だねぇ、といえるお天気になってきました。

そうなると、みなさんどこに行かれます？

そりゃ、やっぱり海でしょう！

という具合に、先月今月とゲストさんと海に行く話をすると、

「海には行くけど、海には入らない」

「海に行くには、気合いを入れないと行けない」

なんていう若者の意見を聞くことができました。やっぱり最近の若者は海行かないようですよ。

そりゃ、こんな海に入るなら、ちょっとは気合い必要かもしれませんが、、、

まぁ、そういうわけで今最もウイルス拡散リスクの高い若者達が行かないということで、期せずして海の安心安全を確認することが出来ました。

それでは、若者とは逆の行動パターンで安心安全、素敵な一日を！
